I had an absolutely horrible experience with PayPal.
I run a handyman company and sometimes accept payments through invoices connected to PayPal. A customer paid me, and three months later PayPal suddenly took $500 back, claiming the customer disputed the transaction.
I provided every proof and screenshot showing the customer paid, was happy with our work, and that this was a clear scam. PayPal’s response? They don’t care. “The customer is always right.”
This is absurd. We did the job, we purchased the materials, and got scammed — and PayPal sided with the scammer. I’ve deleted this awful service. PayPal is a horrible organization.
