Terrible customer service.
I tried to purchase a laptop online and was called by Tracy from their fraud team.
The women spoke to me in the worst tone and seemed put out that I wanted a bit of an explanation as to why I was being asked all these unusual questions. I was informed by Tracy that the questions were not unusual, as they are mentioned in their documentation (clearly a clever girl).
I decided I would rather not spend Friday afternoon talking to such a miserable mare, so said to cancel and I would buy in the shop if it is an issue.
They cancelled and said no funds would be taken ( confirmed by email), but they have put in some kind of request and my funds are now stuck in limbo for ten days.
That'll teach me for trying to give them money.
Terrible experience from start to finish. Their customer service reps are absolutely useless. It is clear their job is to get rid of callers, rather than fix anything for a customer.
I have never had anything like this with Amazon, no wonder they do so well.
