I've used PC Specialist before for both desktop and laptop so no big surprises. The ordering process is good, I like the option to choose each component and there's validation to save you from any obvious pitfalls. Once in the system, after a couple of days queueing, there's plenty of emails to help track progress and the 360 view of the initial build is a nice touch. Although I'm up in Scotland the computer came very quickly with DPD, even though it's passed to a local delivery partner for final delivery. The PC was well packed, no damage.
I was able to quickly resolve a couple of minor problems, the display on the AIO cooler could not be configured in iCUE and the GPU support bracket was loose, both possible transit related issues. Going into the case I was able to adjust the bracket and at the same time found a slightly loose cable on the cooler, both issues fixed in seconds. The motherboard, a Gigabyte, shows an odd status code of 08 most of the time, seemingly an unlisted code, when I was expecting A0. This doesn't seem to be a sign of any actual problem, the machine is running well and is much quicker than the one it replaces.
