Bournemouth branch. I have a 3 month old puppy, presenting some severe symptoms and he was given steroids without an investigation to diagnosis. I've been twice and both times I've heard were a charity we don't investigate that. Not sure if it's covid and funding has been pulled on everything. The vet looked into his ears, did a swab, But After coming out he was yelping in pain and couldnt walk, I had to carry him, he couldn't drink or eat with out screaming. I called them up and they said he's probably sensitive after looking in his ears. Well I had the same examination a a private vets and he didn't have the same reaction. He needs stomach and skin investigations but 'its a Charity' and got fobbed off. Steroids made no difference. Also no vaccines or nueturing services. So I guess that just leaves life threatening emergencies or will you will you get a 'were a charity we don't do that' or it's time to put him down? I'm frustrated that there isn't help for people who are disabled and can't work because knowing what I know now I probably wouldn't have got an animal knowing vet costs are so high. I have low cost insurance and just hope that will cover everything though it probably won't.
