I'm getting a little concerned over the PDSA reduced cost for a second pet, one of my cats who is covered with the PDSA as a reduced cost treatment, she had to have some teeth removed, ended up costing nearly £400 plus the £65 for blood tests. I'm thinking now that their costs are not far off a normal vets prices, now as a disabled person on a fixed income its getting to the stage that to own a pet thats covered with the PDSA is getting too expensive, you could say well don't have pets but mine I got way before I was disabled, I get the impression that they are trying to take as much money off you as they know most people would trade their life for their pet. years ago you used to get an itemised reciept showing the breakdown of the costs, now all you get is the card reader reciept just showing the total.
