The pedestal is sturdy with a very nice finish ( doesn't reflect too much light) . I have to be mindful not to touch it too much, as prints will show up. The people at Pedestal Source are very good at communicating the status of your order. They even sent a short video of the floor supervisor showing the finished product as it was completed. This was unexpected. I purchased this pedestal to compliment a new TV stand I had purchased. I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but had to wait until the TV stand and new TV were in place to take a suitable photo.
