Visited Pen & Paper Cardiff October 2019. Without a shadow of doubt, this is one of the best stationery shops in the UK. As a watercolour artist from Kent I buy my colours from Cornelissen London, but have always found it difficult to source a high quality sketchbook that's strong enough to carry around for my prep-work. I stumbled across the "hand book" sketch book range, what a great find! Absolutely delighted with the square version, great quality, excellent weight of paper and no buckling using my no. 8 and no 2 round sable Kolinsky brushes. Also nice to see a store that has a good loose stock of Staedtler Mars Lumograph 2B's. Will definitely be back when I'm next in Wales. Highly recommend this store.
