Once I had worked out how all the pieces went together it was easy to put onto my dog. It's a good fit and a lot less cumbersome than his previous harness. It will also dry out a lot quicker after a rainy day walk.
One observation: the adjustable part of the girth straps are anchored quite far in to the padded strap that passes behind the dog's front legs. This means that when you fasten the straps it leaves a little flappy bit of padded strap and I wondered if you could have put in a "belt loop" for the straps to pass through?
