They pay the bill, but it’s going to take a month to reimburse you and once you’ve met your deductible, they will make you jump through hoops to get reimbursed. Two months later and I finally got reimbursed for my last appointment. They needed the entire medical history of my dog. They claimed they weren’t able to get in touch with my 24/7 veterinarian, so I had to ask my vet to forward all of my dogs’ medical records to Pet’s Best. A $300 claim, and they make it so difficult to process. There are definitely better Pet Insurance companies out there, but you’re not going to find one cheaper than pet’s best that will actually pay out. You get what you pay for. If you don’t mind waiting 1-2 months and jumping through hoops to get reimbursed, then you won’t have an issue like I did.
