The claim process is very efficient and straightforward to use. I'm impressed with the reasonable amount of time from the initial process to the delivery of claim benefits. The explanation of benefits for reimbursements provides ample and accurate information on which procedures are covered, which are deductible, and whether there is any co-pay. I am fully satisfied with Pets Best Pet Health Insurance.

I've been using Pets Best for 2 of my dogs now and they've been wonderful. Highly responsive, fair, and I my dogs and future dogs will be lifelong members of Pets Best insurance. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Horrible horrible horrible experience… do not recommend this insurance company… false advertisement for the claim processing time . Paying for 4 years and the first time my dog was sick and I submitted claims did not receive any compensation for more than 25+ days (still waiting) . Scam artists… do not recommend this company…

I think our monthly premium is a bit high based on our small dog's young age (5). Our premium has more than doubled since we first got the insurance. I hope the yearly increases do not keep jumping so much each year.

I have had Pet's Best for 2 two dogs for about six years. One sadly passed about a year ago. But because of Pet's Best, I was able to do the MRI to find out she had a brain tumor. Without insurance, I'm not sure I would've paid the $5 grand. When she declined, I knew it was time and knew I was making the right decision. Otherwise, I would've always questioned that maybe it was just an infection or something more "curable." My current dog is lots of little lumps and digestive issues, so it's been great to see a specialist to make sure I'm doing all the right things to make his belly comfy. With these claims, Pet's Best has always been amazing. I've never questioned anything they didn't cover. It's easy to just take a photo of the vet invoice, upload it. They usually send an update email. I typically receive any payment within 30 days. They have been amazing! When my dog passed, they were very kind and processed the refund quickly for the amount I was owed, since I pay for the quarter. That was the only time I've had to reach out to someone and they were amazing. Other than that, I can't speak to the customer service, because everything runs so smooth, I don't need to contact them! Of course, the one complaint is the cost. It almost doubled last year for my one dog, but I just put the deductable up a little bit and the coverage down a little bit and got it to less than it was the previous year. And I still feel like I can make decisions that are best for the dog and not based on finances. Vetinary care, just like everything else has got so expensive, so I understand why their prices have gone up, which is why I still rate them 5 stars!

No one wants to face an emergency with their pet, especially one that is heartbreaking. This is exactly what we ended up facing, and having insurance gave us every opportunity to try whatever we could to help our furbaby. Pets Best was amazing throughout the entire process. They handled everything professionally and swiftly. Always super friendly and understanding when we had questions and were overwhelmed on what to do. I couldn't recommend them more.

You need to add an additional comments section to your site. If a claim is pending and you ask for additional information that was already provided there is no place to send a comment. It was kicked back twice for info that was complete from the start. Need more focused claims adjusters

We are beyond grateful to have this insurance product! Our dog got into something while at the kennel. His behaviour was changing so we took him to the vet. After testing it was confirmed there was a blockage in his intestine. Surgery was needed and we were able to offer the surgery becasue of the accident/illness insurance we have. He is thriving today!

Our dog unfortunately had a huge laceration on her leg, this landed us at the emergency vet for emergency surgery. That was followed up with a total of three visits afterwards with our regular vet for follow up, dressing changes, stitches removal etc., I filed our first claim ever after this emergency, and we were reimbursed quickly via direct deposit. They don’t pay 100% but still saved us close to $2000. out of pocket! Worth the money and peace of mind in the middle of an emergency!

They need to offer more availability to do stuff online, if you want to change your deductible you have to call, but it takes FOREVER to get through. If I want to see how much money you have paid since the inception of your policies, you can't find it online, you have to call. They need to make it way more user friendly online, more items to do online. The app does not let me download a new claim? I have to go through my computer?! Why?

In our experience PetsBest is one of the cheapest of a large groups of very poor options for pet insurance people with many pets are forced to obtain to avoid catastrophic spending during emergencies. After having had to have use their services much more than we would have liked recently, their pricing is very clearly fine tuned to only just be worth it given the yearly premium for the pet owner for large vet bills at the standard $500 deductible and 20% copay. To be fair, this is unfortunately in line with other pet insurance companies after we shopped around for other offers. Out-of-pocket maximums, like most human life insurance policies have, are desperately needed and would fair tremendously well for marketing if the concept is ever adopted by pet insurance companies, obviously assuming the maximum would be something on the order of $1000.
