“Pets Best has literally saved our dog's life more times than we can count. He is the unluckiest dog in the world, but we wouldn't know what to do without him. We can go to the vet and tell them to do whatever is needed without concern for cost because we know Pets Best has us covered. We recommend it to every pet owner we know!”

“Very affordable and excellent coverage for your dog. We have been with them for 4 years now and our expierence with Pets Best has been stellar. Very easy forms to fill out for reimbursment and come quick especially if you choose the direct deposit option. We also picked up the wellness part of the insurance and that helps cut down on the cost of the annual vet visit, shots and medications. Always reccomend when people ask about pet insurance.”

“I've had Pets Best for close to a decade. My older cat started to have minor health problems and then I adopted 8 weeks old siblings so I thought it was a good idea to get them all insurance. The only complaint I have is the company doesn't pay for anything that it even perceives could be a part of a pre-existing condition. At the same time, my girl kitten developed kennel cough (I know and not a dog in site) and had to stay at the clinic for a few weeks. My vet only charged me for boarding rather than a hospital stay to save me some $. At first the claim was denied but after explaining what happened they reimbursed me for that bill. Their customer service is spectacular, always kind and willing to help!”

“My dog has been insured with Pets Best for a couple of years. Their system seems to work, and although it's not the cheapest out there......they respond when you have questions, and they've been there for me every time I've needed them.”

“I cancelled my policies for two reasons: First, the last times I have submitted claims via the app, I receive emails informing me they cannot be processed due to missing documentation (itemized invoice and proof of payment). Every time I have submitted claims, I have submitted the itemized invoice I received from the vet as well as the receipt provided by the vet. The papers I submitted included the itemized invoice which specified what services were provided to each of my two dog and included the names and costs of the vaccinations and the amount for the office visit. The receipt includes the date, an abbreviated "Professional Services Rendered," the charge (which, lo and behold exactly matches the Invocie balance listed on the itemized invoice), the payment and the outstanding balance. Second; one of the policies was to renew on 11/8/26. That policy increased from $848.72/yr to $1674.13, just shy of a 100% increase, for a four yr old Cavapoo for whom our only claims were for wellness visits, teeth cleaning and vacinnations. I have since found other pet insurance (with comparable coverage including the same annual deductable), which is rated higher by Forbes than Pets Best, for $558.36/yr. Other factors for this negative review include the cancellation policy. There is no place to cancel on the website or on the app. You must call. When you call, you are led through at least five separate menus before getting to the place you need to be to cancel. I've had these policies for three years and am finally fed up with the outrageous cost, the poor handling of claims and their not so subtle cancellation policy made purposefully difficult in hopes of discourging customers for cancelling.”
