“The insurance is an overall hole was okay. The timeliness of some of the claims was backlogged. However, my overall concern is the fact that the premiums continue to skyrocket which makes it difficult to maintain coverage.”

“The claims processing is pretty easy and fast. It slows down if there is an item on the invoice that is not covered. All in all, good pet insurance. But I will note that our insurance premium increased dramatically two years ago.”

“They have the best rates around; believe me, I've checked. They even offer better than my employer sponsored pet insurance. So while I can't guarantee they're the best one for you and your pet, definitely give them consideration. Their claims process is easy and straight forward, and while things did get terribly bogged down for while during and for a few years after the pandemic shutdown, their turnaround on claims recently has been very quick.”

“They are always having issues accepting claims and The app is horrible. Even had some issues going through website. It’s a continuous circle trying to get my own claim history to see what has and has not been applied to deductible. Just a nightmare”

“Rates increase over the life of the dog, along with the health needs of your pet, and it feels like the coverage decreases. The staff is awesome and helpful when you call - which is amazing. But it's insurance, so they are going to follow policy. Despite long-term, on-time, reliable payments over the life of your (potentially very healthy) pet, they will still read the fine print and support you financially through challenging times (as the dog ages) as little as their policies allow. Fun. :)”

“PetsBest is a great safety net in case of medical issues for our dog. We used it a couple months ago for the first time and it was very easy to file a claim. Explanation of Benefits were issued quickly and when I didn't agree with one of their determinations, they were very willing to work with me to resolve. Great company. I highly recommend for peace of mind.”

“I would say it’s ok. If my dog wasn’t old I would shop around. Watch claims closely as sometimes things are not applied correctly. It’s also hard to tell where you are with for your deductible. I also didn’t realize if you’re covered at 80%, that means only 80% of qualified expenses goes toward your deductible, not just after you meet it. It’s ok. I’m glad I have it but there may be better out there.”
