“Pet';s Best is very equitable in what they cover with each claim. If there is going to be a delay in their processing of the claim, they make us aware that they do have the claim but it is taking a little longer than expected if they have to wait for the vet records.”

“We took Pet’s Best Insurance as soon as our veterinarian cleared our 5 year old rescue dog’s health. We took both tiers of care. When our girl needed emergency surgery to her jawbones and teeth, our insurance covered the exact amount of 80% that I had contracted for. We are so grateful! Freya is now 7 and because we have Pet’s Best Insurance, we can give her the best care that she deserves”

“I recently submitted my first claim with Pets Best Insurance after a very unexpected and serious emergency with my dog, Sullivan. He spent 9 days in the hospital, 7 of those in the ICU, so this was not only emotionally overwhelming but also came with a very large, unplanned vet bill. I’m hopeful that this entire emergency will be covered, as that’s exactly why we chose to have insurance in place. From what I can see so far, the coverage itself looks promising, and I’m feeling cautiously optimistic about the outcome. The next few claims I’ve submitted have followed a similar pattern with longer wait times than expected and very little communication along the way. That part has been really hard. When you’re dealing with ongoing care, recovery, and significant expenses, not knowing where things stand adds a lot of stress. Even a simple update or clearer timeline would make a big difference. I understand these things take time, but communication during the process would really help pet owners feel supported, especially in situations like this. Overall, I’m hopeful everything will be processed and covered as expected, but I would really love to see improvements in responsiveness and communication moving forward.”

“I don't recommend Pets Best Insurance, as they raise premiums significantly every year. I have a plan with a wellness exam, but when I submit a claim for an annual exam, Pets Best only pays less than 50% of the cost.”
