My cat passed away May 2, 2024 and Pet's Best covered everything I would have expected, it just took over a month for them to tell me what they were covereing. Just waiting for the direct deposit now, day 34.

I have reserved comments for some time as your reimbursements have been very slow in coming in. Finally after weeks of processing my payments came in, much lower than expected. Since I have had your policy I have never claimed anything on my dog, Josh, as I felt normal visits and even a couple er visits were my responsibility under normal wellness issues. But in April he became suddenly seriously ill and was near death. He was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disorder called idiopathic pyrogranulomatous lymphadenitis that unfortunately the only cure is long term medication, bloodwork etc. Unfortunately during the first few weeks of treatment he had several setbacks that required er visits and further testing that were necessary to save him. These were not simply wellness claims as you explained to me but necessary procedures that were performed as an emergency response to diagnose what was causing the setbacks and to determine the treatment adjustments needed. At this time they have proved successful, but long term prognosis is still open. These services were not routine but simply urgently required at the time to reverse serious setbacks. I realize this has been very expensive to your business. And trust me I dread having to use your services any more than necessary, as there are no winners here. However in closing I strongly disagree to your characterization that the denied claims were based on routine wellness. They were in fact necessary procedures to treat emergency conditions at the time.

We have been with Pets Best for several years now and it always seems to take them a long time to process my claims. They do notify with updates when they are delayed. The overall price has gone up quite a bit from the first year we got coverage. So much so that we've had to lower the deductible and the coverage we receive. That being said for the most part we are happy with the insurance. In comarison to others it is the best deal we could find.

I turned in a claim for my cat's asthma inhaler, which he uses twice a day. Within 5 days the claim was paid. I've had Pets Best insurance for him and his sister since they were 7 weeks old. It has always paid quickly. If for some reason there is a delay in processing they always communicate with you. I highly recommend Pets Best for anyone when they welcome a new pet into their home. You never know what the future will bring and Pets Best is the best peace of mind I've ever had.

I have been relatively happy with this pet insurance. App makes it easy to submit claims and communication seems to be good when additional information is needed. I have had some claims take a couple days to process….others have taken a month. Overall happy with pets best insurance.

Unhappy with the review process. I kept receiving emails asking for medical records although records had been provided. Often times, it felt as though they were attempting to delay payment by continuously asking for medical records. Customer Service Reps were a bit flippant when calling for assistance.

They have timely resolutions for the bills submitted and I've never had an issue or had to fight for coverage for my cats. Their site is also very user friendly and easy to navigate.

Pets Best is a good insurance company . It gives me peace of mind knowing when I take my pets to the vet they are covered with Pets Best Health Insurance . I am very glad I chose this particular Pet Insurance Company . I just wish they would process the claims faster / more promptly . AAA+++

After using Pets Best for close to 8 years now, I regret adding the newest members of our fur family to the plan. 100% of the claims I've filed in the last year have taken extended time to process. With 3 pets that's A LOT of claims. With each claim a minimum of $500 and 2 totaling over 2k, that's a lot of money for me to be waiting on processing. In the past 2 weeks was the longest process time. Sorely disappointed.

I just submitted my first claim and it took less than 24 hours to receive my EOB and reimbursement. The process couldn't be easier!

The coverage and plan options are good. The cost and premium increases your over year isn’t what I initially expected. Probably the thing that’s most dissatisfactory is the amount of time it takes to get reimbursed. I’ve had a claim out there for two months pending reimbursement policies I’ve had like Embrace have reimburse me within 2 to 3 days of submitting, that can make a difference, especially if you have a large claim dependent on the money we are considering switching to Embrace for this reason.
