Takes forever to get reimbursed. The app has a lot of glitches also around logging in and submitting a claim.

I only gave 3 stars because every time I try to login to my account, it does not work anymore and I have to call everytime I want to login. I also have to send my claims by email. I'm not trusting the process that way. By not being able to login to my account I cannot see what is processed and what is not processed. I have several more claims that I need to add, this is a complete inconvenience to me as I use three different devices, depending on my location to add/check claims. Otherwise I loved Pets Best until these login issues!!!!

Processing claims is not timely. Premiums are high and youg very little back after coinsurnce and deductible

The annual premium continues to go up. I feel like I can get a better deal with a different provider. Additonally, sometimes my claims are delayed. I am pleased, but not ecstatic with my coverage now. I was much happier before when I felt the costs were more reasonable

When I first started using Pets Best, they were GREAT! Super-responsive and processed claims in a timely manner. Then a few months ago there started to be a lot of glitches--the app and website would be down, calling meant being on hold forever, and it seemed like claims weren't getting processed. While the communication issues seem to have been resolved (I haven't bothered trying to use the app since then), claims are still taking about a month to process (instead of 1-2 weeks like before) and since the reimbursements take about a week to get deposited, claims overall take more than a month to be resolved. If it had always been this way I would just assume that is normal, but the new "normal" seems to be claims taking twice as long to process.

I've had my dog insured with Pets Best from 11 months old. The premium has gone from $174/yr to $1,135/yr (2019-2025). Which honestly is unacceptable but I continue to pay it because veterinary care cost has increased (but not 552%!) Additionally, you cannot change your plan except downward. But, claims are paid, sometimes with minor delays. The last two years, the increases have been insane, I doubt I'll continue at this rate. 2023 = $596, 2024= $710, 2025 = $1135 Just not sustainable. So the positives of claims payment usually in a timely manner versus CRAZY increases in premiums. Everyone needs to decide what is best for them

I've had this insurance for a few years and EVERY SINGLE TIME I submit a claim I get a message titled "We Apologize For The Delay" -- if you send this for EVERY claim, this is your way of doing business, not a delay. Do better.

We use this insurance for 4 dogs, two are seniors. Price seems fair. Coverage options we chose are working for us. Have to track the details of claims because claim coverage action can be confusing when mistakes are made by the reviewers. When I call to follow-up I get immediate and courteous help.

I have mixed feelings about this company and the service. Whenever I talk to customer service on the phone, everyone is very nice and helpful as much as they can be. My rates have drastically gone up almost $150 from last year and when I called to get an explanation, the agents don’t know because the company hasn’t provided it. All I’m told is that insurance rates all over have gone up that bills have gone up. I don’t make a lot of money. My pets have been through various illnesses and things cost a lot most of the time this insurance doesn’t really feel like it helps me much because I barely hit my deductible at the end of the year and what they pay on doesn’t even include the total they exclude the tax so overall it just feels very Flimsy and unfortunately for me I’m stuck because anywhere else I tried to go wouldn’t help me with the chronic pre-existing conditions. The app doesn’t always work either and I’m always having trouble with it. But if I’m in an emergency, and it’s something very expensive, it will be helpful.

Your service has been amazing over the last years. However the way you handled customer service during the outage was beyond rediculous. That was the most rediculous obcese way you could have possibly handled that situation. WTF.

The first 3 years I was a customer of Pets Best, I sang your praises often and loudly. Something happened in the last two years that has changed. Pets Best app is not working more than it works, the wait time to speak to someone in customer service went from 5-10 minutes to 30-45 minutes. The latest complaint is that my premium rose considerably. Mainly though the app never working and the excessive wait time to be able to speak to customer service are the biggest problems. Please, hire a tech person to get the app working!! One cost for long term solution and happy customers!

The claims submission and review process is super easy and fast. I really appreciate that so much! Every year my annual rate goes up by 30-50% (this year almost 50%) and it’s becoming too expensive for me to afford this insurance. It’s frustrating because I want to have some basic coverage but having just accident coverage just doesn’t seem worth it. Will most likely be dropping coverage this year as it just doesn’t seem worth keeping coverage and I would rather set something up directly with my vet.

Not happy. Claim we submitted was processed inaccurate. Should have contacted vet or myself to clarify. Processing claims has to be done attention to detail. It's important to reimburse the claim with accuracy to the policyholder. This was not the first time

I am grateful for them acknowledging my claim for my dog. But I worried they would find an excuse to deny the claim. It’s a difficult process. I sent in all invoices and medical records but they kept asking for the same records. As if they were creating more red tape
