The rates go up significantly every year. They told me that it’s because my dogs are getting older…they’re 2 and 3. My last reimbursement was quick (within a week), but generally they run 6 to 8 weeks out.

The coverage is really good, and I don't have issues with payment, once the claims are finally approved. The submission process has become more and more difficult over time. We frequently get notices that they don't have enough information for the claim, but the information has just not been read completely. Having multiple pets on the same invoice seems to be very difficult to interpret, and we're told there's not proof of payment. So far everything has been approved eventually, but the turn around time is very long, because we usually have to resubmit the same paperwork multiple times.

You have gotten much more timely with claims, but are raising rates to the point where I can't do this anymore. I have a friend with a pup that had over $50000 in claims last year and you didn't raise her rates at all?!

Good Pet insurance compny, but some of the claims don't make much sense when you are payning monthly and you receive hardly anything back.

Pets Best insurance is overall good but I am not happy with their wellness plan coverage. I have been using Pets Best insurance for the fifth year now. I understand the insurance rates will go up every year which is normal but the wellness plan benefit coverage had stay the same at $305 since 2021. Due to inflation, the costs for annual visit, vaccines, flick/tick prevention, sample exams, etc. have all gone up year over year. I have talked to the customer service several times for them to review with the corporate and increase the benefit coverage but had not seen any changes. Please review and adjust the benefit coverage. Thank you.

Overall insurance is helpful, I never want to have to use it because it means I’m at the vet but when something goes wrong it always gets expensive so this is very helpful. The wellness plan I’m not totally sold on. Would be more helpful if you could use that money towards anything on that list up the maximum value. Costs in my area are no where near what that covers.

The actual coverage is fine, but the claim process, the iPhone app, and communication are terrible. The very first claim I submitted took a little over a week which is great, but ever since they’ve taken at least a month. My dog is older so she’s at the vet a little more often, and still every time they feel the need to request all of her records even after I’ve provided them recently. Its a hassle for me and the vet, and unnecessary. Beyond that, the app is terrible. It crashes often and you pretty much have to use the desktop version. I stay with them because pet insurance is not cheap and with my dog being older, it’s hard to switch at this point.

The policy is good and they process claims quickly but my policy has doubled in price in the 5 years that I’ve have had coverage on my 2 dogs.

Waitin period with lack of covereage isn't great, ability to shift any part of a policy is nonexistant, just general health insurance limitations. Pet's Best comes highly recomended and I have yet to experience why.

I will rated higher but sometimes the process and takes quite a while and depositing the check also. I see that every year it gets more expensive the older your fur baby gets I don't think it's right but I don't want my fur baby not to be covered. If I have direct deposit I feel as though reimbursement should be deposited quickly then waiting 5 to 7 days.

We are fairly new to Best Pets insurance. The process of filing a claim and getting reimbursed seems to take weeks which is longer than I anticipated. I have yet to receive any dollars for treatments yet. We have completed the deductible but are waiting to hear back from them on the last visit two and a half weeks ago. My satisfaction is reserved at this time.

I just filed my first claim after having met my deductible and I’m very disappointed to see how little I am receiving in reimbursement for my dog’s $800 well visit. I know it’s in the documents, but it just doesn’t feel good to spend so much for insurance and still have to pay so much out-of-pocket.

I have wellness Insurance on our Dog Maddie and you all did not cover any of the $150 charge for Senior Wellness w/fecal due to reaching $2,500 per incident. I guess i wonder why there is a limit on Senior Wellness Visit. Unless you just don't cover Senior Dog Wellness Annual Visit. You did cover the exam, Bordetella Vaccination and Leptospirois Vacccination. Disappointed

I have had challenges the past few months getting a claim paid that was denied initially for outstanding vet records. There was confusion as the vet records were provided on letterhead of another vets name (the two are owned by the same company). Once that issue was identified it still took 5 phone calls and nearly 2 months for the claim to be processed and paid. Admittedly I started communicating with my HR about other pet insurance options. I am now cautiously optimistic as things seem to now be correct and hopefully my future claim experiences will be better.

Great coverage the customer service reps are helpful and kind. In my opinion they take too long to reimburse their customers and if you send in a bill that has items not covered it delays the process because they split the claim into two claims. Ridiculous.

Submitting a claim is a real pain. You have to be in the Vetrinary health profession to submit, as the definition of the illness/injury is very difficult to select, as it is not on the receipt.

My only complaint with Pets Best is reimbursement turnaround times have definitely increased. I can understand needing to review past medical history but not understanding such a delay even after medical history is provided/received.
