Claims take forever to process and are very untimely. Coverage is minimal at best for outrageous pricing.

It’s taking over a month and I still have not received my reimbursement. That is way to long keeping my money tied up.

Honestly, not sure if I would do this again. We have the wellness plan and the injury/illness plan. And I definitely don’t feel like the wellness plan was worth the money. Only covers a certain amount for vaccines, etc. and I don’t feel like I’ve even came close to covering even half of what we had to do with our dog. I’m interested to see how much it will cover up the spay. I will say it’s easy to submit on the app so that is nice and haven’t had to use it for the illness/accident yet so I can’t comment on that.

Sometimes I have to supply so much paperwork from the vet for you to determine coverage. You did not cover periodontal disease that my young dog started even though she had super teeth according to all vet check ups and I did the cleaning as precautionary because the last vet said she could have it on the insides of her teeth where I can’t reach with a toothbrush so I had them clean her teeth and they found some minor periodontal disease. It should have been covered because she was going under anesthesia for limping to check her hips and knees. All was due to injury. So sometimes I get frustrated and ask what am I paying for then! Sometimes you do a good job and pay rather quickly but lately it takes much longer to process claims and the app never works so I have to uninstall and reinstall it every time. Needs improvement.

The coverage is not really that much after deductibles, copayments and sub limits as compared to premiums paid. The EOBs don’t really explain specifics.

My annual insurance premium increased by 300.00 for this year yet my best wellness illness benefits stayed the same. All of my pets preventative vaccines should be covered fully.

When I took out my first policy 8 months ago reimbursement from claims was fast usually within 7-10 days. Now every claim seems to take 20-25 days. Also if you add a pet to an existing pet policy and have auto pay they pull the new premium twice the first month if you want the policies combined into one ABP to have a month in surplus. This does NOT happen if you keep them separate or log into app to pay. Customer service knowledge seems to have fallen in the last few months as well.

I’ve had this pet insurance for 13 years and never filed a claim. These past few months our dog has been sick and we’ve finally had to file some claims. We were impressed with the turn around time with the first few but our latest ER hospital visit bill has gone beyond their turn around window for reimbursement and this is very concerning and disappointing. We received an email apologizing for the delay with no other explanation. This is a $2000 bill. With this in mind, I would be wary to recommend them at this point in time. I do hope they come through more quickly with our reimbursements should we continue to need to file.

I have generally been pleased with the insurance. Some claims do take longer to process but that’s not a problem. I am, however, upset that the rates decided to go up conveniently FOUR DAYS after we submitted a claim for my dog to have CCL surgery. The letter states that it is not related to our recent claims but I don’t believe that, the timing is too close. Especially since we’ve been using this company for years and our rate has not increased significantly. This year they decided our rate would increase by $50 a month for the same coverage

It's a hard review to write because the coverage has been integral to the health of a dog who came with a lot more complex issues than the rest of his litter, but also the greatest heart and face. They have been easy enough to reach but reimbursments can take some time which is less than ideal and the biggest complaint I have is the guarentee that they don't raise prices because of claims or pets age has not been true for us. Every year we have seen a price hike and they don't bring it back down when contacted about it. I am sure this will not be a review they choose to be shared.

I've enjoyed using this the past couple years and there's never been a problem. It came time for my renewal and dog's annual exam around the same time. I did not get the usual annual reimbursement amount back since the exam was a week or so before the renewed date. Now I will lose out on a year of the benefits since his exam will not be until July 2026 when my renewal was July 10, 2025 but exam was on July 1, 2025.
