Your not what you say you are. You take too much time to review claims and I have a super policy covers up to 90% yet never am I close to that. There's always an excuse the fee schedule used to dictate wt something should cost might work 30 years ago but not now. There by I don't get the coverage promised. I'm getting a second dog and I'm already looking into other options. A very disappointed dissatisfied customer here

They take a long time to review and process of your claims. They go up every year by $30 whether you use the insurance or not. Most claims are not even covered. And I had one of their best and expensive insurance policies that you can get with them or the building and whistles and still a lot of claims weren’t covered.

Pets best increased the price of my plan almost double this year. My dog has no health issues and is still extremely young. They stated the increase was based on other customers. That is an inappropriate and unfair way to run the business.

You're great at cashing payments, but when you are needed for a claim, you are horrible. I canceled my policy after the first claim.

Pets Best cancelled my doctor visit coverage without my knowledge when I only asked for Chiropractic to be canceled. When I called to discuss this the agent called me a liar. My daughter has Lemonade for her dog with incredible coverage. I strongly recommend them.

I just paid over $800 at the vet, and my pet insurance only reimbursed me $160. Honestly, it makes more sense to just put that $50 a month into a savings account for my dog, instead of paying it to the insurance company. That way, when something comes up, I’ll actually have money set aside to cover it, without having to deal with low reimbursements and still paying them every month.

Beware, PetsBest raises my premium over 19% each year. That is an exhorbitant amount to be charging. Additionally, over 1/2 of the claims I submit don't get paided out within their antispated time frame. I do not recommend using this company.

Horrible service they look for reasons not to pay, $700 bill and they pay $200 while I pay $130 a month for insurance, will be canceling soon

They had been great until they decided to try and classify a mass my dog had as an "Allergy" and refused to cover a biopsy on it (which the biopsy also proved it was not an allergy, simply a mass that had ruptured that she had then licked while I was at work, causing an inflammatory response and infection which required steriods and antibiotics). Even after I had a letter from the veterinarian saying it was indeed not an allergy. I am a CVT as well and am appalled that they refuse to cover this claim when it is a mass she had to get removed not due to an allergy of any kind. It's unforunate as I will not be renewing my 6 dogs that I currently have insured under them.

I just spent over $700 on an annual visit for my dog. Shots, blood work, etc.. Pets Best Insurance covered a whopping $50. Not exactly sure what I am paying for TBH.

This is my first time using pet insurance. The premium is too high. Then the deductible is too high. By the time they cover expenses I could have saved money by not paying for insurance. Maybe a catastrophic issue it would have helped. But for the average pet owner not worth it. Although submitting claims is easy and they do respond fairly quickly.

I used to have 12 dogs covered on Pets Best, now I have 9 because my premiums are going up so much, I can no longer justify the cost. At this point, I will take my chances. Theses are marginal increases, these are huge increases for young dogs with no health issues. My Trupanion has gone up by a few dollars. Very disappointed in this company when it used to be a great company and very affordable.

They took forever to process my claim, they advertise that it’s 3 business days but it took almost a month so that is false advertisement. They barely covered my claim stating that some things didn’t meet the requirement so I’m considering going to a different company to insure my dog.

It takes too long to be refunded. They are timely to receive your payments, but inefficient to refund payments. I plan to change to a different company at the end of my term.

Terrible service, it took them a long time to respond to my claim, too many obstacles to process it, and when it was finally processed they told me they couldn't issue a refund because it wasn't covered, when that service is covered by the coverage I contracted. When I tried to contact someone to explain why they didn't just answer the machines, I was never able to speak to anyone. Terrible customer service.

I actually liked PetsBest for the longest time, even though the premiums increased 50% over four years. However, I just received notice of an ADDITIONAL 80% increase in my monthly premium, now $90 a month--which is more than I pay for MY health insurance. My premiums have now TRIPLED in a period of 5 years, and I will be researching alternatives to PetsBest.
