I chose pets best pet health insurance because of reviews I saw regarding them being great with rescue animals. I have taken my dog to the vet, a handful of times and have barely received any reimbursement on bills. I had to argue with them on one claim because they were not going to provide reimbursement due to lack of previous medical bills. I asked how am I supposed to provide previous medical bills if the dog is a rescue to which I got no response. I am not pleased with them and I’ve started looking at other potential pet health insurance carriers.
