First of all when I switched over I had 2 pets and so they should have had the same policy. When I needed to use the policy I could not. I used the insurance for the existing policy and got absolutely nothing back. I pay more for the policy. This insurance is a joke.

There are stringent rules on what is delcared a pre-existing condition. We went to the animal ER with what we considered a serious pup emergency, pup passing out after vomiting from his new medication. Nothing was covered so we're very dissappointed in PetsBest. With the higher premiums than most we could have paid the invoices outright. You live and you learn...

They don’t cover anything. We will be switching.

Coverage is very limited. For the cost of the premium, can pay claims myself. I cancelled this policy

Since you started using AI to process the claims, it has become more complicated to get my claims processed. You just denied one that you approved for another dog a couple of years ago. I don't understand

You have been paying for acuapel antihistamine for years for my dog. Was not working pop my vet changed him to another antihistamine Numelvi… for same problem. He needs it every month and I shouldn’t pay for it as I pay my premium and am a loyal customer. I ve had trouble before and may be checking for other insurances.

The reimbursement rate takes too much time. I signed up for the higher cost policy, which seems to constantly deny reimbursement for items that seem to within the policy reimbursement items.

Very untrustworthy company. After a whole year of "on time direct payments" on my part "without" filing any claims, I finally do. Normal stuff. Well, well, now we seem to have issues with uploaded info from me that I saw clearly, and they stated received, but somehow, all of a sudden, not there. Follow with calls and an email. Just horrible. Like your money, though!

They do not know what they are reviewing. Too many emails. They ask for information for a whole year of service from the vets. Its provided. They do not use dates that were submitted for surgery. They go off of something from the year they asked for. Very disappointed.

I purchased pet insurance for peace of mind, expecting that it would help cover unexpected medical emergencies. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. My French bulldog suddenly developed severe neurological symptoms, including vision loss and loss of balance. Based on her condition, a veterinary neurologist determined that an MRI was medically necessary to diagnose the cause and guide life-saving treatment. The MRI ultimately revealed brain swelling, and she was diagnosed with an immune-mediated inflammatory condition requiring immediate treatment with steroids. Despite the clear medical necessity of the MRI and the specialist’s recommendation, my claim for the MRI was denied. As a pet owner facing a medical emergency, this was both financially and emotionally devastating. I understand that every policy has terms and exclusions, but MRI is a covered service u der my policy .I encourage anyone considering pet insurance to carefully review the coverage details and fight for your rights. My experience did not meet the expectations I had when I chose this company. I hope the company will review cases like mine with greater consideration for medical necessity and the recommendations of veterinary specialists.

Not great. I feel that my insurance policy has significantly increased in price over the last few years, and yet only 20% or so of my dog's ANNUAL vet appointment was covered. Doesn't seem very helpful. I am going to begin looking elsewhere.

Takes 3 to 4 weeks to get an explanation of benefits then another 5 to 10 days for reimbursement

There is hardly any coverage when your pet ages or has any diseases pop up, even if they were diagnosed after the fact. The rates are so high for me to spend hundreds that "don't count" toward the deductible. I am positive they use AI to deny everything and then I pay over a grand every year to get $15 in reimbursements for things they used to cover hundreds for. This is the worst insurance company I've ever dealt with. Cheapskate company that will rip you off.

I pay 50 a month for the past 6 years and never submitted a claim but did this time and got $35 back from almost $500 bill… might as well cancel!

Despite having the complete care which should give me peace of mind instead rarely is worth it when I send in a claim

This was such a disappointing experience. We were thrilled, thinking we had super quality coverage for our newly adopted 3 year old cat. One year later, we took him to the vet, and it turned out NOTHING was covered. We have canceled our policy. It was a waste of one year, and nearly $700. Their insurance is a scam.

Not satisfied. Too expensive and they find a way to deny any claim.
