“I'm very disapponted in claim #13112451 due to the Vet recommended and ordered this product, she also shipped to me. She told me she could give my dog a shot but I explained that I'm not comfortable with medication due to the fact that it only masks the symptoms and you should know this. For the price I've been paying for a year now it make me wonder if I made the right choice as an insurer for my Custer. On the other hand I was satisfied with the other clain for his shots.”

“Pets Best Pet Health Insurance has been good about paying for claims. They are fair and pay promptly after the claims are submitted. However, sometimes it is very annoying when they ask for documentation for illnesses that were already approved before. For eg. my pet needed Carprofen to manage her hip dysplasia. When we had a prescription refill, the prescription was denied and they were asking for more documentation. That seems silly when they have her history of claims and they know or should have known that she is on pain medication for her hips. It is so unnecessary. So overall, I would recommend Pets best insurance for your pets but there is room for improvement.”

“I love Pets Best. We have four dogs and they are all covered. They pay good and fast mostly. Little disappointed in how lately they have been picky on large claims and the claims are delayed longer than they do. It is like they are looking to reduce the claim. But I would recommend them in combination with a Care Credit card.”

“While having pet insurance is a great option, it's surprising how reimbursement is much less than expected. Full reimbursement is not offered, so reaching the minimum deductible is difficult! Many measures are not covered. My last vet bill was $200 for Cushings Disease tests and my reimbursement was $38. Not a good return but I'll keep pressing forward.. Sludge in her gall bladder is not specifically identified so I don't know if it's reimbursable.”

“I've had Pets Best for close to a decade. My older cat started to have minor health problems and then I adopted 8 weeks old siblings so I thought it was a good idea to get them all insurance. The only complaint I have is the company doesn't pay for anything that it even perceives could be a part of a pre-existing condition. At the same time, my girl kitten developed kennel cough (I know and not a dog in site) and had to stay at the clinic for a few weeks. My vet only charged me for boarding rather than a hospital stay to save me some $. At first the claim was denied but after explaining what happened they reimbursed me for that bill. Their customer service is spectacular, always kind and willing to help!”

“My dog has been insured with Pets Best for a couple of years. Their system seems to work, and although it's not the cheapest out there......they respond when you have questions, and they've been there for me every time I've needed them.”

“I have only been a client of PetBestfor about two years, but I have to say the process regarding my most recent claim was the smoothest by far. Thank you for working diligently behind the scenes to process that claim since I was able to be issued money back.”

“I submitted two cliams for my dog. When I tried using the on-line cliam form for the first cliam I was unable to get to the sreen. I finally sent an email with all of the information. When trying to submit the second claim after I fill in all of the information and attached the paper work from the vet the sytem kept timing out. It wasn't until I called the cutomer service line that I received help. The agent was very helpful and able to tell me that the claims were recieved. I was very happy that I recieved a reply in 2 days tellng me that the cliams were approved Unfortunately I was not expectng to have a copay for evey item plus the deductible.”

“To date I have had a great experience with Pets Best and have recommended it to friends. The only thing I would say is it seems like if I bring my dog in to evaluate and illness or problem that the examination should be covered. I understand my policy excludes wellness exams, vaccinations, etc. However, the exam in the case of an injury and an illness is not covered.”

“It’s hard to give a review on this since I’ve been using them for years and the insurance has always been great, but I got a new dog and I’m having issues where I do not get any reimbursement because the dog had a parasite that even when the parasite has been cleared, they won’t reimburse because they’re claiming the dog had the parasite before the insurance which is understandable but even when the parasite is gone, I keep getting the same message and they won’t reimburse so even though I’m loyal to the company I would like to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars I put in now that my dog has been free of all parasites even with new claims getting the same email saying it was an existing condition which it is not”

“Much more money than it should be - I pay more for my cat's health insurance than I do for my own - but despite that, PetsBest has been awesome. They have allowed me to keep my kitties healthy and happy until age 19. It's worth the peace of mind to never have to worry about the cost of care. I'd never go without it. But to the company, charge less!! Your rates are insane for older pets. (You are clearly raking in the dough!)”
