First claim and it was quick and very easy. The only thing I thought was missing was an email letting me know it had been completed. I received an email that it was received but had to go to the website to review and see what was reimbursed.

I have had mostly good experiences with Pets Best. Its easy to submit claims and they do take their time to review but eventually that happens! The yearly fee though keeps going up but thats true for most insurers and also a function of the pet's age. Overall I am happy and would recommend.

My female dog has recurrent UTIs that requires antibiotics, AmoxiClav. AmoxiClav is a form of Clavamox, and Clavamox is on the medication approved list. Every time I submit a claim for AmoxiClav, it is refused. Recently, I obtained all dr notes for my female and the newest claim for AmoxiClav was approved. It would have been helpful to know that more dr notes were needed to get the $126 medication reimbursed the prior 4 times!

So far, Pets Best has been a good experience. The customer service is great. I got the help I needed, and my claim was updated accordingly.

I have had Pet's Best for about 9 years with 3 different dogs. For the most part it has been ok however the extreme escalation of premium last year and even worse this year has made me start to look for something more affordable. I don't mind a slight increase every year but this last increase is well over $100 per month. For this premium price (pushing $300 per month) I will probably just put that money aside for myself or find a more affordable insurance.

My interaction with all of the customer service representatives has been awesome! The issue I had was with claims, as I had to call a couple of times to explain that Pets Best already had all records, and that the claim I submitted was for a one time visit, and so Pets Best had that, along with her previous records from her regular vet already. And then, in an email, it made it seem like since my initial claim was closed that I could make a new one, and attach the records, and it would be expedited. However, that did not seem to be, as the customer service representative said I should have just emailed and explained the records belonged to the closed claim. Either way, it did not go faster, as it was stuck on waiting for medical records for quite awhile. I am appreciative that it was eventually processed and approved, and I will be receiving a refund. However my claim was initially submitted July 31st, and then again mid August, and then processed and approved September 10th. While overall the turn around time was not too bad, I think it was just concerning that I had to keep calling to explain that no other records would be collected/sent, that Pets Best already has all records possible. Oh, another thing... It would be nice to be able to use the Chat feature. Every time I try, it tells me to call in, that no representatives are available to chat. I have had Pets Best since April, and this is the message I receive every time. Thank you everyone for your kindness though!

I've had Pets Best insurance for several years. In the beginning, we rarely needed to use it because our dog was healthy. As she's gotten older, we've started submitting more claims for injuries and illnesses. Their app and claims submission system are user-friendly and efficient. We've never had issues with her claims, and reimbursements are typically processed quickly. I would have given five stars, but the claims processing timeline can be inconsistent. Some claims are processed within 48 hours, while others take up to a month, with no identifiable reason for the delay.

I have been very pleased with Pets Best action on reimbursement. My only complaint is that sometimes there are time delays which are a bit frustrating.

I love knowing I'm covered. The only downside is that it takes a while to get reimbursed. From the time my claim was accepted to the time I received funds is often a couple weeks of waiting.

I've been pleased with the speed of monitary reimbursements but I do wish they would pay directly to the veterinarian. I would give them 5 stars if that were the case.

Processing is convenient, fast snd efficient . . . when you can get the phone app to work! After calling to ask why the app was not working, I was advised to delete the app, then reinstall. This was the second time I had to do this in the years I've had this policy. Fortunately, the problem was resolved and in a matter of only about two days my claims were processed. That part was exceptional service!

The company is great.. my only issue is turnaround time.. I hope this would get better at the processing the claims.. it has taken 2 mons at times to get my payment..

I have had Pets Best health insurance for my two dogs for a long time. Although the premieum keeps going up, it's like that everywhere. But it's easy to submit a claim, they email you the status of the claim, explanations and also if you have questions, they respond back within a very reasonable time.

The process was easy to submit an claim on the app and it was pretty quick. The only annoying part was the poor service when calling in to talk to a representative. I wanted to ask if about coverage to be told nothing but the rep. Then she asked if she aswered all my quesitons? Obciously not, you said answered nothing.

I love Pet's Best. I am very happy with the coverage I have for my dog. The only negative is the time frame it takes to get a claim paid.
