“Only complaint is the huge increase in cost last year. Nothing changed in my coverage. You still don’t cover the supplement my dog takes for her hips. And I think with the increase in cost you could either add the supplements in or offer another perk. Your turnaround time for claims is pretty good, explanation is always helpful. I just think it all costs too much and you know you have dog owners that would do anything to keep their pets healthy so you can do what you want.”

“Have been with Pets Best since 2020. We have a frenchie and a rescue hound mix insured with them. The frenchie has cost us quite a bit over the years. Pets Best have always been great and prompt with paying out the claims. Highly recommend this company if you need your fur babies to be protected. They have made the stressful times easier, knowing the financial burden of looking after our frenchies medical needs are covered.”

“I’ve had a really good experience with this pets best overall. The coverage has been helpful for routine issues and a couple of unexpected vet visits, and the claims process has been pretty straightforward. Submitting claims online is easy, and reimbursement usually comes through within a reasonable time. Customer service has also been responsive whenever I had questions about coverage or claims. It definitely gives me peace of mind knowing I have some financial backup if something happens with my pet. The only downside is that premiums have increased a bit over time, and sometimes certain treatments or fees aren’t covered the way I initially expected. It’s worth reading the policy details carefully. That said, I still think it’s a solid option for pet owners who want protection against big vet bills while keeping their pets healthy. Overall, I’m happy with it and would recommend it.”

“I used my accidental coverage which is reasonably priced. The payment was rather quickly reimbursed. I am thankful it worked out as smoothly as it did considering the traumatic experience we were put through having to use it as my dog was attacked by another dog. Glad we had Pets Best.”

“I like the ease of submitting claims, and the fact that once they review and return to you the EOB, it’s easy to understand. I like that I feel like I’m not being price gouged and I feel like the things I need covered, are indeed covered as expected. Turn around time just needs to be improved. I have had no claims where I haven’t received the message “sorry for the delay” etc etc. Once the turn around time is improved, I can better recommend it to friends and family. Right now, it’s a bit nerve wracking to depend on especially for big emergencies. But I do think the customer service is good, maybe just need more people. Current turn around time for me on average was 3 weeks from claim submission to reimbursement. Because of the ease of their process, and the straightforwardness of their policies, I still remain with Pets Best and hope they continue to improve in the future.”

“As a new client, I am pleased with the communication and follow up. I am a bit disappointed in the denial of my claim indicating it was present in the waiting period. My coverage started on 12/1/2025. The corner eye growth did not appear or start to grow until January 2026. Although her vet did remove a hair follicle skin tag on her upper eyelid on 12/16/2025, during her dental cleaning procedure, that skin tag is not at all associated with or the same kind of growth as the corner one. The pathology report that I just received supports that.”

“Very happy my claims for a foreign body surgery and then all following complications were covered without any questions! My only complaint is the 3+ week turn around time. When you're spending 3k+ at the vet and having to use multiple credit cards, waiting that long for reimbursement is nerve-wracking.”
