Not at all as marketed. I had an illness and injury policy for my dog. He suddenly developed hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and diarrhea, requiring emergency veterinary intervention. It turned out to be salmonella contamination. I incurred $1181 in vet bills due to this, and Pets Best covered $34. Yep, $34. Over two years, I had paid about $900 in premiums, a total waste of money. I will set up my own fund to cover emergency expenses in the future. I'm so disappointed I was suckered in by this.
