This is by far the worst insurance I’ve ever had. They told me they would pay Claims within 7 to 10 days. Usually get two within 48 hours took a month definitely go with a different company.

Gave me a hard time with the back and forward with claim that I made as if I was trying to fraud the company. Spent 4K on my dogs hospitalization just for the insurance to want to finally reimburse me $2500 which is not even 80% as promised!

A full medical records review is required so that we may understand your pet’s history and process your claims accurately. Keep in mind all Accident and Illness policies have a Policyholder-chosen copay and deductible that must be met before reimbursing on eligible claims. thank you for responding to my review. I did call and get an explanation of my claim. If I could leave less than a 1 star, I would. For your "wellness" plans, you cover a TOTAL of $150 a year. That is for spaying and teeth cleaning. Either of those procedures is far in excess of $150. It is worse for illness or accidents. This company is not trying to help people with the high cost of veterniary care. This company is a rip-off. People would be ahead significantly by taking the premium for the year and putting it in a savings acct.

one of the worst company’s out there. i’ve never had this long of a wait and the customer service is so unhelpful i can’t wait for my policy to expire so i can switch to a new insurance company.

I really hate this service. It doesn't cover barely anything and hasn't helped offset costs. My animals rarely get sick and I hate paying over 100 a month for something that rarely ever benefits me. I thought I had dental care so long as I got regular cleaning and they didn't even cover cleaning. I should have wellness plan. This sucks and I feel trapped into continuing to pay for it because if an accident happens I will need the help If it doesn't, I'm screwed into paying hundreds to this company. I can't switch because now that my puppy is almost 2 it'll cost more. I hate this and wish someone would plainly explain how I can get the most out of this service but of course they won't help.

Very poor coverage and will not be renewing. Cheaper to pay the vet bill than the premium. Very disappointing!

Rates jumped 30 when we move back to Florida, wellness benefits pay only a fraction. Cost almost as much to cover my pet as it does to cover me.

Read the fine print. I paid for what I thought was a premium price for higher end pet insurance. I took my dog to the vet and submitted the claims. I spent about 160 total but was only reimbursed 60 bucks when I pay for a 90% reimbursement. I was told to read my policy. I feel like your service is totally different from what you portray.

It has definitely gone down hill since I first enrolled. 2 years ago it was 68.00 a month now it’s over 80 a month and I have barely used the insurance. Also the guarantee of fast claim processing is a joke. They used to process in an eek now it’s over a month. Customer service is not very helpful and could ultimately care less if the customers are happy!

I have been a member for 6 years, I have insured 4 total dogs with you. The premiums are significantly more expensive than ever, and I am not seeing a rate of return at all with the high deductibles. At this point there are other plans out there much better than Pets Best and I am considering leaving all together. There should be some accommodation to the fact you have members that stay. Your customer service is bad, claims take forever, and your app never works correctly. I literally could not be more unsatified with this company.

i gave 1 star because i had to but if i had my way i would give you 0 stars i am very disapointed that very few of the services theat are on my claims are being covered i have been paying you sinse september of 2022 and according to what you said most of the services that i need rembersment for arent coverd. i might as well pay something out of pocket to an insurance that is going to cover what i actually need covered pelase send me the steps to uninrol in this and cancel so that i can stop making payment you for something that clearly isnt ment for anyone with real medical needs for their animals

Website says that claims are processed in 3-5 days. My claim took over a month and only covered about 1/3 of the total. What a scam.

I am so disappointed with Pets Best not allowing my claim and then to add salt on the wound I spoke with the most insane customer service rep woman when I called to see why the claim was denied. She wouldn't let me speak and kept interuppting me and had a very know-it-all tone the ENTIRE time. Never a good sign. Years of paying for 2 dogs and a cat and never once having anything covered. My dog went to get a teeth cleaning and vet determined while he was under that he needed tooth extraction. Bottom line while tooth extraction is covered officially its not really unless the pet has had a cleaning in the last 13 months. So when I asked were we supposed to let the Vet put him under and then do nothing or clean teeth that needed to be pulled and then reschedule the teeth extraction so he could be plied with anesthesia a second time (not safe and who would do this)...She didn't let me finish. Interuppted - again to incredibly tell me what she does and what HER vet does with HER dog's appointments. So she could tell me what I had done wrong. And again her tone (call was recorded Pets Best so please listen) was so smarmy tsk tsk know-it-all that I told her bluntly to "stop talking" and that I didn't want to her her anecdotal vet stories about her dog...sigh! I hung up the call. Who has the patience for such absurdity. One of those people that thinks their little lived experience is the way it is for everyone else on the planet. Talk to me about the policy not your know-it-all holier than thou advice when I call about my paid Pets Best insurance policy. It's not Ann Landers for Pete's sake.

A call review request has been issued to listen to your call and ensure any coaching is provided as needed. Under the enrolled Accident and Illness policy, the Dental Coverage Section advises of the requirements that must be met for your pet to be eligible for periodontal disease coverage. There, it advises that for your pet to be eligible for periodontal disease coverage, your pet must be free of any signs of periodontal disease prior to the Policy Effective Date or during any Waiting Period, and beginning at three years of age, your pet’s teeth must have been cleaned and examined under general anesthesia by a Veterinarian in the thirteen months before the date of service for the periodontal disease claim. The idea is that, in most cases, periodontal disease may be preventable with routine teeth cleaning performed. With that, the expectation in order to receive continued coverage for periodontal disease in pets over the age of 3, is for them to have routine teeth cleaning by a licensed veterinarian under general anesthesia which provides them with coverage for periodontal disease for the 13 months following that cleaning. Keep in mind, our BestWellness endorsement is the only endorsement where we offer benefit for a pet’s Teeth Cleaning. If a Policyholder subscribes to EssentialWellness or doesn’t subscribe to a wellness endorsement at all, there would be no coverage for Teeth Cleaning on their policy, as preventative care is a direct exclusion of our Accident and Illness policy. Wellness plans can be added, changed, or removed at the annual renewal period. We appreciate your feedback, as it assists us in working towards improved customer satisfaction. I don't believe I received a fair compensation from your insurance due to my dog's accident. Giving an excuse that the works done to our dog were "standard process" ready made us think twice before continuing to use PetsBest as our dog's insureer. All the work that was done to our dog ("Nano") were exclusively because of the incident. Additionally, the payment took a long time to be sent.

I find itis unfortunate that you do n ot cover a mobile vet. I have had and do have many pets. I have a mobile vet, and she is superior to many in store vets. If I knew that when I was reviewing your coverage next to other companies, I never would have signed up with you. I now will review other companies and make my decision. Sincerely, very disappointed. If you mentioned no mobile vets next to you list of coverage, I never would have signed up.
