I am mostly satisfied with the service form Pets Best. However, lately it has been taking longer for them to process the claims. When a check arrives, it does not reference a claim number or a policy number so I have to go back into my records to match up the vet bills with the claims with the checks. It is a bit inconvenient.

I've been with PetsBest for about 4 years. At the beginning they used to take care of your claim within a week, now it takes them almost a month.

I have had Petsbest insurance for a little less than a month. I added on the Wellness package because I have a 4 month old puppy. He recieved his last round of vaccines which the insurance covered about 73% of the cost (Does not include taxes or hazard waste fee). This has been my first claim submitted so I don't have much to judge by, but I will say I have not been able to submit a claim through the app. I tried multiple times and it would give me an error message. I emailed them all the claim information twice because I would not get a response. Eventually the claim was processed 2 about weeks later. The claim status says it's been paid, but I have yet to receive the pay out. Giving 3 stars for now because, communication and trying to submit a claim was not the best for my first experience.

The jury is still out. My deductible is $1k so several costs were not covered last year, and the max cap on the items that were covered is below the amount charged by both of my dog’s vets for various services. In theory, the insurance will be helpful if, god forbid, something catastrophic happens; however, given all of the exclusions, I’m not certain of that or whether the long-term cost of the insurance will be cost-effective. My dog had umbilical hernia surgery and I received a note saying it just applied toward my deductible. In other words, not covered. More when I see the pattern for a longer period. For now, I’m neutral in my review and wavering on whether to keep it or let it go.

Pets Best tajes too long to process claims. Also, when trying to file a claim, whether on the app or my laptop, I have to try multiple times because of tech issues. If my dog didn't have a pre-existing issue, I would change insurance to another company.

Coverage is good but customer service is horrible. I’ve waited over a month for an email reply, and sat on hold for 1.5 hours just to be disconnected from their customer service line. Very frustrating.

Not as good as what I thought it would be. Years ago had another company for my two pugs and was provided with much better coverage. I compared what I used to have knowing previous company did change a few things and thought Pets Best would be the best fit, but not very satisifed with the coverage I am receiving. Will be looking into other options. They were good with claims in the very beginning and the last claim took almost a month to get paid.

Good insurance but my premium went up 56%. I had to raise my deductible to afford it. It takes forever to get through too.

PetsBest when we first joined was qu8ck with claims, now we've had several that have taken nearly a month to recoup our money.

Was disappointed because It took Pets Best almost 4 weeks to process my dog claim. I received 2 delay emails while I was waiting to have it processed. Other then that everything is good.

I upload documents for my claim receipt and visit summary. I will upload both and always one document will be missing. I will combine into one document from now on. It takes a long time for claims to get processed. It is also getting expensive and premium goes up every year. I am on the fence on whether it is worth it. I may start a pet health savings account.

Getting through to you on the phone is very difficult and took way too long. Plus using your homepage had all kinds of troubles.

Claims analysis takes way too long. Getting a firm letter regularly saying we apologize doesn’t help. Also the length of time from when you decide a claim and payment via direct bank account is too long. It’s not all bad : pricing is in line, coverage pretty good. App is good

Initially, I was impressed at by Pet's Best and happy with the service. Then, after paying out several claims for a medication, the company started denying claims for the same medication, saying it was not covered. I emailed the company more than a month ago, pointing out the inconsistency in their processing, and have not gotten a response. I have since sent a letter via US mail, but at this point, I'm not feeling optimistic given how they have ignored my emails. I also tried to call the number on the website and was told there was no one available to assist, and I called during business hours.
