“My reason for purchasing pet health insurance was to provide financial assistance when & if my dog is catastrophically injured or stricken with a disasterous disease such as blastomycosis. At the rates currently being charged by veterinary agencies and drug companies for even minor issues,, this has become necessary although I would personally spend whatever I must to save him as he is my furbaby, not "just a dog." I review the limited duration and excluded categories annually and decide if the value is equitable. The only thing I have to ask for is that the company notify of rate changes before they are instituted.”

Any premium rate adjustments are made once per year prior to your annual renewal date, and notification is sent to you either via email or mail + email, depending on how you have it set up, 30 - 45 days in advance to the renewal becoming effective. “Unfortunately my 10 year old rescue dog has had many issues since we adopted her almost two years ago. These medical issues were very costly and I am so glad that I have Pets Best Insurance as they have paid each and every bill. Sometimes the reimbursement is a bit slow but it always comes through.”

“I have never had pet insurance until now. I did a lot of research with a lot of different companies and Pets Best had the best prices with the most coverage. When I called for the very first time to get my coverage started I talked to a very nice lady I wish I could remember her name but she really helped me out and since I am on a fixed income she was able to get me the best insurance for my dog that covers the most with as little monthly payment as possible. Because my dog is a Bernedoodle puppy, I also chose to get the Wellness Plan in addition to the Accident and iIllness because I had a schedule coming up for my dog to get spayed. This company makes it easy to submit your documents and then get back with you in a timely manner and I got reimbursed for my puppy Bella's Spay procedure within 4 days. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody I know. It will put your mind at ease. Ty!”

“Pet Best’s insurance is a sham!!! This company wouldn’t even pay for dog to be neutered. Who does that? Seems like the goal is to pay as less as possible. I am dropping this insurance as soon as they pay my for less than 15% of my puppy to be neutered. SAD!!!!”

“My Springer, Troubadour, aged 7, has been insured by Pet's Best since I brought him home from the breeder. They have been reliable and supportive through typical dog woes - allergies, ear infections - and unexpected ones - a chronic eye condition requiring a canine ophthalmologist (who knew?). My claims have been addressed in a timely manner with a full explanation of benefits. They are readily available for any questions and concerns I've had, and the price is reasonable with very few rate increases over the years. I will never have another uninsured dog, and I will always be loyal to Pets Best as they have been professional, compassionate, reliable, and affordable. Helen Tedder”

“I'm dissatisfied with the health plan. It is too expensive for the coverage they offer. Our dog doesn't get sick very often except that has some digestive issues, but what this plan cover is insignificant. It doesn't look I'm not saving any money and there is no reason to keep the plan.”

“Claims processing is long! When my claim was first submitted it was “split wrong” according to the agent and was the reason why it was taking so long. My second phone call two weeks later. I’m told nothing has changed. I’m still waiting and this is just a simple wellness claim. I asked to receive a call back yesterday when they found out something. I never received a call. Lacking customer service.”
