“Pets Best is excellent at collecting $131+ every month and terrible at covering actual care. I pay for their most expensive, “comprehensive” plan and still get nickel-and-dimed on every claim. Latest example: professional teeth cleaning for my dog cannot be done for under $600. Pets Best reimbursed $150. Previous cleanings left me with nearly $1,000 out-of-pocket each time; they have never come close to covering even 50% of what I paid. They appear to look for every possible reason to minimize what they pay out. This is worse than my own health insurance. I would never recommend Pets Best to anyone. Companies that take large monthly premiums while delivering such limited reimbursement should be closely examined by consumer-protection regulators.”

“Lily had a sudden allergic reaction and needed to be seen by a medical professional in the middle of the night. Knowing that I have pets best pet health insurance gives me peace of mind to take her to the emergency vet at 2am. She was evaluated immediately and was given emergency medications to stop the allergic reaction. Thank you!”

“As a client of many years, I can no longer recommned PetsBest Insurance for your pet. Claim times are very long, many are rejected only to then be aproved with a "sorry, we missed that information", or AI didn't see that.To get that result it takes hours of your time to figure it out once you can get to a live person. Delaying the refund process. Rates this year more than doubled. Ours almost tripled. We only claim meds. If it were not for a pre exsiting condition (IBS) we would have left long ago. It is my hope they will improve.”

“When my cat needed emergency surgery, the claim process was straightforward and reimbursement was much faster than I expected. Having the coverage took a huge amount of financial stress out of an already stressful situation. Definitely worth having.”
