“Took 5 months for the claim to come through. They kept lossing my pets information, rejecting my claim, then I'd call, they would be find it, and then loose it again and reject my claim. I am greatful to the one customer service representative who eventually fixed it, but that was one out of countless phone call sending me round in a circle. In the end most the claim for a routine check up and vaccinations wasn't covered. What can I say insurance companies.. it's a racket.”

“very slow on processing claims. here is what happened. i took our dogs in for limping on front right leg and also discovered a sore/wound on the same leg on 5/18. vet determined at the time it was a insect bite/injury of some sort and perscribed an antiseptic spray. they denied payment for the spray and i appealed it. little did i know when you appeal, all claims for that dog are frozen. they do not even look at them until the appeal in resolved(4-8 weeks). in the meantime, after several more trips to the vet, they determined she needed surgery to remove sore that never healed. about $1500 later and 6 weeks after the appeal they just started looking at the claims. all this headache and delays over a $19 bottle of spray. the appeal determined that the sore(which turned out to be cancer) was due to her licking and thay did not pay for it.”

“We submitted all medical records to process an emergency claim yet it took weeks to process. Not acceptable. Poor communication”

“It is easy and fast. You submit and in days I get the completion email. I got busy and had some situations and fell behind submitting. I was able to submit all the ones I missed. Pets Best Pet processed everything in order and the paperwork was broken out clearly and easy to understand.”

“Pets Best was great the first year, and within 2 years the premium is unaffordable! The payout compared to the premium especially for the wellness plan makes the $87 monthly premium pointless and way overpriced! So I'll be canceling the wellness plan. I haven't had to use the illness/accident plan but I truly hope it will reimburse better than the wellness plan.”

“I feel like I am wasting my money. Everytime I submit a claim it gets denied. Even if part of the claims got paid a little something I would be happy. This is my first time with Pet Insurance. Not sure if it is worth it.”
