Claims take way to long to get processed.

They paid! First time I have done pet insurance and I was skeptical that they would actually pay out over what I paid for the yearly insurance rate. But they surprised me and paid with no issues. I will definitely be sticking with Pets Best!

It's OK, seems like you don't pay very much back.There's always a reason.It's not covered under your policy.so am I happy not really. Not sure.I will stay with you guys much longer

Keep in mind all Accident and Illness policies have a Policyholder-chosen copay and deductible that must be met before reimbursing on eligible claims. Additionally, our Wellness Endorsements are a set schedule of benefits that are not subject to a deductible or co-pay. Each line item on the schedule is the maximum the policy would pay for that line item for your pet in a policy year. Unfortunately, your pet may use up the benefits quickly depending on what your veterinarian charges for their services. You can find your Policy Information and Wellness Schedule under Documents and Forms in your account on our website. If you’d like to discuss the specifics of your claim(s), we're happy to assist. I've had pet insurance from Pets Best for two of my dogs, and it's been an absolute lifesaver. Coverage is comprehensive and affordable compared to other competitors. Claims processing is very simple to navigate via online or mobile app. Processing time is very quick. Communication and customer service is excellent.

The insurance provider deserves BEST in its name. I don’t know about other insurance providers but we have best experience with pets best. We love the service and fast claims processing time. It’s been 2 yrs now and never had a problem with it. We in fact recommended pets best to all our friend and families with dogs. Pets best made us realize how important to have accidental insurance for the pets.

Pets Best is the best pet insurance I’ve ever had for my dogs. The deductible is totally reasonable and they cover way more than I would’ve ever expected them to. It’s unfortunate our premium has to go up so significantly every year, but it’s also understandable given the current state of our country. I greatly appreciate Pets Best and I tell everyone who has a pet to contact them to insure their pets.

In my recent experience, pets best has handled my claim in a fair and speedy manner. After a couple weeks, they sent an email letting me know my claim was is process. It was settled in a reasonable amount of time

Not pleased with determination of benefits. On the first two claims made I needed to appeal the decision on both. One of the claims was paid after appeal. Still awaiting a decision on the other appeal. The service was in February 2024. Now at the end of April, still no response. I am beginning to regret leaving the previous insurance company.

I've had Pets Best Pet Health Insurance for my yorkie dog for 5 years and it's the best thing we could've done. They really help to cover the costs of the vet bills, especially the unforeseen ones. I've had 2 big procedures with my dog under their insurance and they covered so much both times. The first time was a dental cleaning with many extractions which ran me around $800. They covered more than half the bill. More recently my dog had an injury on her leg that needed to be stapled closed. They covered much of that procedure. It didn't heal properly and she needed a full surgery to remove the growth that it created. The surgery including pre op was almost $2,000. This insurane covered over $1,700. I couldn't belive it. If you have a pet you must get this insurance and keep it throughout the life of your pet. For my first dog I had a different pet health care plan for her and after 2 years she didn't use it much and we canceled it. Big mistake. Over the course of her life she needed 2 ACL replacements ($5,000 a piece) and many cardiologist appointments that ran $1,000 a visit. I can only imagine how much of that would've been covered had we been under Pets Best Insurance. I'll never make that mistake again. You won't be disappointed by their service and coverage. It can take 2-4 weeks to get reimbursed but it's worth the wait.

Reimbursement was very slow and there was poor communication throughout the process. Initially, I received an email saying I did not provide a proper receipt, followed immediately with an email stating that the claim was being processed. I called to clarify and was told everything looked fine and the claim was being processed. After a couple of weeks I received another email apologizing for the delay. I then checked the claim status online and there were 2 claims for the same date, one for wellness and another for medical. I then called and asked why there were 2 claims when I only submitted a wellness claim. I was then told it was because of a stool analysis, which was part of my pet's check-up. Coincidentally, my pet had the exact same check-up last year and the stool analysis was cleared as part of that wellness claim. It took over 3 weeks for the reimbursement compared to less than a week the year prior and not once did I receive a courtesy call or an email explaining the reason for the delay, just multiple emails stating that there was a delay.

Great pet insurance. Very fair and it’s the first time we’ve ever filed a claim with a pet insurance company and got any of the cost reimbursed.
