“I have had issues with claim representatives not fully reviewing the information from my Vet and making incorrect decisions about what I should be paid. Just this year, my dog had to see our vet, and they missed items on the vet's SOAP and didn't pay what my policy says I should be paid. I had to call and ask them to review it again for a correct payment.”

“After having lost a dog because I could not afford the surgery that he needed I decided when I got another dog without a doubt I would get pet insurance. After doing hours and hours and hours of research, I decided on pets best. I have not been disappointed. Claims are easy to file. Everything is online. Money is generally in the bank within 7 to 10 days. I had heard nightmare stories about constantly being required to submit more and more documentation and just plain hassles with pet insurance companies to be reimbursed. I have not had this experience. And to be completely honest between our two dogs in two years we have had nearly $50,000 in claims. We now have all four of our pets, insured through pets best and we feel far more relaxed and confident in our care choices for all of them as we know that pets best will be helping us with the cost. As with all things you need to read your policy carefully because everything is spelled out very plainly and is very easy to understand. If you have something denied because it is not a covered item I promise it is spelled out in your policy, somewhere front and center. We love being able to make decisions for our pets health in their best interest instead of based on whether or not we can afford it. With pets best we make the best decisions now.”

“I have had my mini dachshund insured with Pets Best for 2 years now. I’ve never had to use it for any accidents/ illness until recently. My dog got very sick and we had to take him to the ER which was not a cheap visit. I easily submitted the claims to Pets Best and they quickly processed the claim and reimbursed 90% of his visit. Pets Best has been nothing but great and we are so glad we have our dog insured with Pets Best!”

“I’ve had nothing but good results from pets best. I took out this policy when my Yorkie was a puppy. She is now five years old. She was attacked by a coyote in 2004 and pets best paid the entire surgery fee. she’s been to the vet several times they always pay fast and everything except my co-pays. I couldn’t be more pleased.”

“The insurance helps a little but I feel for the $100 a month or whatever it could cover a little more. Sometimes bills are in the hundreds and they’ll cover like $70. Also it takes a while to get claims processed at times. I’ve had claims take 1-2 days and others take a month. I’d recommend them though for the most part!”
