“We've had this insurance for our pet for a long time and thankfully never had to use it. Unfortunately she's getting old and with age things happen. We filled a claim on Thursday and by Friday we already had a resolution. They were fast and very professional. Everything was done through the site, easy and self explanatory. I totally recomment Pets Best!!!”

“I have a Welness plan that covers annual cleanings for my pups. It took almost 3 months to get a cleaning covered . I was repeatedly asked for more and more info, dental records then teeth #s for the extractions done, then reason for extractions and finally for records dating back to October 2023 which was prior to me rescuing my pop. If annual cleanings are covered additional info should not be needed if that all the claim was submitted for. Finally reimbursed $150 for service date 1/12/26”

“I’ve been paying over $150/month for pet insurance, and honestly, it feels like a complete waste. My dog barely goes to the vet—maybe once a year—and when she does, almost nothing is covered. The most frustrating part is how they classify issues. When I first adopted my dog as a puppy, she had fleas. Now, any ear issues or allergy-related conditions are being labeled as “pre-existing” or “allergies,” and they refuse to cover treatment. These are real, ongoing health concerns, and they won’t help at all. It feels like they look for any reason to deny claims rather than support pet owners. After spending thousands over time, I’ve received little to no value in return. If your pet has any history of skin, ear, or allergy issues—even minor—be very careful. You may end up paying a lot and getting nothing when you actually need it.”

“I just adopted a second pup and added her to Pets Best. My older pup has been covered with Pets Best 6 months after adopting him. I have always had positive experiences with them. There are some claims that require longer processing times but nothing out of the ordinary. I will always advocate for pet insurance. I wasn’t aware that this was a thing until 6 months too late as my boy has stomach issues which is considered pre existing and not covered. I didn’t make the same mistake with my girl. Before she set paws over the threshold, she had insurance coverage. You inside your house, your car, your health and your life. Why wouldn’t you insure the one thing that loves your more than themselves?”

“Overall pretty good, kind of expensive for my Giant Breed Daniff (Great Dane English Mastiff mix). Wellness coverage doesn’t seem to be as good as a few years ago but coverage for an operation was excellent.”

“This is my first pet with insurance, so I'm biased to being a first time client. The claims process is very easy to do, and the explanation receive upon reimbursement claims is very help. For my first time using, it's been a good experience. I knew my dog would need accident insurance, and he hit his deductible in less than 2 months, so it's been well worth it for us.”

“Pets Best came through for us when my 5 year old English Setter was diagnosed with a life threatening disease which required a week in the ICU of a veterinary hospital. This was a very stressful time as we dealt with the daily ups and downs of having a very sick family member. We were not entirely sure at the outset how much of the medical treatments would be covered, and were pleasantly suprised when the Explanation of Benefits summary came in quickly showing that all of the covered items, as explained in the policy, were paid. Thank you Pets Best!”

“Processing takes very long. Ive been "denied" claims because it requires additional information from my vet. Ive spent a couple thousand already and still have yet to hit my deductible. A lot of my claims have been sent back at preexisting condition even if it if a new condition. I have a couple returns for shots that I have not received yet.”
