“I don't understand the explanations when I don't get coverage for certain items. For example, for the 3 year rabies shot my dog just got, the coverage was less than a third of the cost, and the explanation was "the annual maximum wellness amount for these wellness services has been paid." I thought coverage for things like Rabies shots were covered seperate from "wellness visits"”

“As is typical of many insurances, you have to spend a lot of time researching exactly what they will cover or not cover for reimbursement and then, if covered, the amount or percentage that will be reimbursed. I just learned about a medication prescribed to treat my dog's illness (parasites) was not covered. I am lucky it was a more typical medication and he only required one perscription for a short number of days. I really did expect a medication such as this to be covered. I learned that I need to review the medications being perscribed against Pets Best's formulary, which dictates what they will cover or not. Then if not on the Pet's Best formulary, potentially speak with the vet about other similar medications that may be on the Pet's Best formulary as an alternate medication and discuss if they will be just as effective.”

“I absolutely love Pets Best insurance. My dog had a pretty rare illness and pets best has been covering all her medications and visits and biopsy, they saved my babies life. Whenever I call everybody is so kind and understanding. I love pets best and I 100% recommend them”

“My experience has been stellar. Recently submitted invoices and Vet records. The Pets Best process begins with acknowledging the receipt of the files. Next, sends a detailed summary, based the plan, for me included information about percentage covered, deductable, and amount paid, which was easy to understand. By phone or through emails, the team thoroughly answers questions. I'm so glad I got the insurance plan that fits my needs for my dog.”

“We have an older dog, 11 1/2. As you can imagine, he has recurring expenses. Thyroid pills, eye drops and other required medication and they have been very good at paying. He has also recently had to have ACL surgery and a follow up surgery. They were also goog on paying that. As you can imagine the premiums keep going up, but the alternative is paying for all these things completely out of pocket.”

“You guys are incredible picky for paying even small amounts. My cat was getting its vaccine three days to early or so and you did not pay for it because you already did for this year. A bit of flexibility in these things would be nice.”

“Don't waste your money, put it in a savings account for your pet. I've spent a fortune in premiums, and when my dog got sick, I got nothing in return. My premiums go up every year as my dog ages and the return on investment gets less.”

“Very happy with Pets Best. We had switched from a different pet insurance company as their costs became too high. Not only is Pets Best more reasonable, they have several different plans to choose the level of coverage you need. Filing claims is super easy, and they're paid promptly.
