“I have two dogs covered by Pets Best and so far have had great results with any claims. One dog never have filed a claim but my other dog got diagnosed with a lifelong illness and requires medication with every meal. Through her coverage Pets Best covers her medication besides any appointments related to her diagnosis. There rates are very comparable to others and covers more than most other pet insurance companies.”

“My two main gripes are: 1) They seem to process claims information using AI so its a mess. When you upload information that is not a claim (like medical records, notes and history from previous visits) the AI treats it like new claims, even though you don't intend to file it that way. Happened to me a few times even though I sent it to the medicalrecords email they provided. 2) When you call (I called various times), the people in the Indian call center have no clue what they are doing. They come up with different information every time and dont really resolve anything. If you are lucky enough to get a customer service representative in the US, its a hit or miss. One of those calls a lady was not paying attention and was more interested in hanging up quicky. She left me speaking to myself and never answered when I repeated the information 3 times. Also, claims are quickly closed if you don't provide previous medical records in two or three days so you have to call and reopen. In general, customer service is terrible save for a few representatives. The process is a mess.”
