It's easy to file claims and processing is normally very prompt. If there are any delays, the communication is excellent.

Absolutely terrible service, cannot recommend them at all. My last claim took 2 and 1/2 months to complete, including 6 separate phone calls which required, in some cases, waiting 30 minutes on hold, only to get a customer service rep who had no actual ability to help. They closed the claim twice because my veterinarian did not privde medical records quickly enough (the first time took 3 days, verses the nearly 3 weeks before they requested them from opening of the claim, the second time it was 2 days). I was unable on multiple occasions to upload files on their website, and the website is just broken in general. I get nonsense messages about claim documents being illegible (even though on the previously closed claim they itemized the entire invoice without issue). They also did not respond to emails to their customer service address. If you want to spend months tracking down your claim every time, then maybe Pets Best is for you, otherwise I would recommend paying a little more for a different company instead.

I like PetsBest because I think I have good coverage and a decent rate. I also like how straightforward their website and app are. The only thing I don’t enjoy is how long it takes for claims to be processed. When I first joined a couple years ago my first claim was processed fast but the past two years it’s been a really slow process.

Their coverage options are good and they typically pay claims quite quickly. HOWEVER, their premium increases at renewal are outrageous! We have two dogs and one cat on our plan. At our first renewal the premium went up 32%. 2nd renewal was 45%, 3rd was 59% and this year another 35%. Our two dogs were the same premium for the first four years. All of a sudden this year our dog who has had some tumors removed the last few years, had his premium increase 65% while our other dog only went up 8.5%. They claim increases are only based on breed, age and location (and not claims history) - which is the same for both dogs. So why the change now? I've called five times to discuss with agents and supervisors and no one can explain. They just blame it on the rating factors.

I was not sure about Pets Best Insurance after reading a ome reviews but I am very pleased as of now. My claim was reviewed and I received a replay in just little over a week. Thank you

For what we pay we barely get anything back. With 90% reimbursement, I only got 1/4 reimbursed. Also the website and the app both are broken and dont give me the ability to look up my stuff.

Was disappointed because It took Pets Best almost 4 weeks to process my dog claim. I received 2 delay emails while I was waiting to have it processed. Other then that everything is good.

I upload documents for my claim receipt and visit summary. I will upload both and always one document will be missing. I will combine into one document from now on. It takes a long time for claims to get processed. It is also getting expensive and premium goes up every year. I am on the fence on whether it is worth it. I may start a pet health savings account.

When I first signed up it was fine. However, trying to get in touch with someone is a 20 minute wait on the phone and they cant help. I think one month is a bit too long to process a simple claim. Everything included when submitted. The price, the doctor notes and the paid receipt. Still took a month!

Pets Best has been amazing for helping my dog through cancer. He would be gone already without their support. Instead, after four months of treatment, he's feeling great and is even back to competing in agility. Thank you Pets Best for giving my dog a chance to beat this horrible disease and keeping him happy.

Overall very satisfied, great amount of coverage. Disappointed that the rates have near about triples and it takes absolutely forever for a claim to be processed. That being said, it does eventually get processed and I know I take the best care of my babies knowing I have PetsBest.

it has been over 25 days and i still have not received my reimbursment payment. i had to call 3 times through the month and on the24th day i was told the claim would be expedited. the vuery first claim i ever did i received my payment in 4 days.
