“Security on the app and website don't work. It usually takes at least two codes before I can get in. Other users just say call them cuz its way easier. The claims process is great unless something goes wrong. Then it completely breaks down. When I called, they just kept reading their screen to me which is the same as the email they send which i didn't understand”

“I’ve been with Pets Best pet health insurance for six years now and I can’t express how happy I am with the service they provide. Claims are quickly processed, and the reimbursement is justice as quickly sent. Having this insurance has lifted a lot of the financial burden off of my shoulders for the cost of my dogs care. I highly recommend that you look into Pets Best pet health insurance for your pets.”

“Literally the best pet insurance only down side is your have to pay upfront but 99% of the time I get 90% if the money back within a week of posting the claim”

“I submitted my claim on June 72026 for a wellness visit. Had to submit original receipt over bill 2x. Called 18 days into process n rep wasn't helpful or knowledge. Today is July 3, 2026 n still haven't settled my claim. Would not recommend pets best.”

“We have had Pets Best for about 2 years now. We even had a move from NC back to FL during that time. We actually moved to them because our former pet insurance almost doubled it's monthly rate during our 18 months in NC. Our rate in our move from NC to FL did not significantly change. During the last 3 months we've had some small claims, all of which were quickly paid out. The portal is easy to use and recently I've moved any claim payments to a direct deposit which eliminates the additional hassles of waiting for a check and then depositing. Would highly recommended.”

“I’m going to be canceling my policy. The reasons for why some of the items in my claim were denied, don’t make sense. No one called me to discussed the results or to why they were denied”

“While my experience has been wonderful, my rate increase this year was substantial. This is the first year we have had many claims, so while they say rates don’t increase based on claims, this does not feel true. Once a condition has been diagnosed, it seems like this is factored in, and since other companies don’t cover preexisting conditions, it feels even more like you don’t have a choice but pay what they say, or cover more of the cost yourself.”

“I am very disappointed in this company. My claim has sat for months. I received emails,apologizing for the delay without explanation. In the email, it states that if they have difficulty, they will notify me of the issue and ask my help. Never happened. Finally, I was lucky to get a young lady who explained that the problem was a lack of the vet entering her name. Not true. I informed her it was on my copy so it had to be on hers. It was. She escalated the claim. This is from 3-26. I'm still waiting for the money to show up in my checking account. Good luck to all.”
