“I have peace of mind that I can take care of my dogs should they get sick or have an accident. Claims are quite simple to file. Reimbursements are usually within a couple weeks. The EOB’s are easy to understand. The website app has been improved and easy to navigate. Pets Best has been a complete asset!”

“I submitted two cliams for my dog. When I tried using the on-line cliam form for the first cliam I was unable to get to the sreen. I finally sent an email with all of the information. When trying to submit the second claim after I fill in all of the information and attached the paper work from the vet the sytem kept timing out. It wasn't until I called the cutomer service line that I received help. The agent was very helpful and able to tell me that the claims were recieved. I was very happy that I recieved a reply in 2 days tellng me that the cliams were approved Unfortunately I was not expectng to have a copay for evey item plus the deductible.”

“Over the past year or so Pet's Best has changed. They require way too much to file a claim. Photos are too small, too blurry,no claim number on it. I just found out one of my claims was closed out because I didn't provide enough information. I'm not happy with Pets Best at all. Unfortunately my cat has asthma so I can't change insurance. I would though, if I could.”

“While pets best has been very expensive over the years, and increasing in price.. we have been lucky to have it. Pets best has covered every insurance claim that we've submitted. I've had so much peace of mind knowing that I can do what is best for my pet without worrying about medical bills.”

The turnaround time was much faster than I expected, the claim was handled fairly, and the reimbursement process was straightforward. “I'm so frustrated that Pet Best triples their insurance rates once a dog hits seven. I started out paying around three hundred, but now it's jumping to fifteen hundred or even three thousand dollars. They also slashed my coverage to 70%, so it hurts when you're a low income and you can't afford it any longer. I was fine with them until last year, when my premium spiked to over fifteen hundred for 90% coverage. It’s ridiculous to hike the price that much just because your pet needed care a few times. You should definitely look for better insurance that won’t charge thousands just because your dog is older and has health issues. I’ve never even come close to using what I pay, and I’m just sticking around a little longer before I cancel for good. I’m warning everyone I told about them to get out now, because they’ll just drain every dollar they can from you.”

“I have insurance for two dogs. I’ve never even used it enough to meet my deductible for either dog the year, and I’ve had their insurance for four years. They have raised my premium an additional $360 a month next year so I’m paying over $600 for two dogs. I will be switching.”

“They cover very little and I paid quite a bit for their insurance. I will never use them again. The company is very disappointing. I found much better options/”

“To date I have had a great experience with Pets Best and have recommended it to friends. The only thing I would say is it seems like if I bring my dog in to evaluate and illness or problem that the examination should be covered. I understand my policy excludes wellness exams, vaccinations, etc. However, the exam in the case of an injury and an illness is not covered.”
