“The response was very quick. The itemized deductions seemed a bit unfair. Deductions should be credited for the amount spent on the procedure too many small amounts not credited.”

“My puppy had a pet emergency where he had thrown up multiple times and seemed constipated. He was lethargic as well. Wouldn't eat or drink. Took him to VEG emergency. Cost was almost 1100 dollars. Pets Best paid(after the 500 deductible) over 400 dollars. What they didn't cover(probiotics) was clearly stated in plan. Submitted on a Friday morning. By Sunday morning had an email approving claims. Very happy with company.”

“Affordable. Lots of plan options. Fast and reliable claims service. Polite and knowledgeable customer service representatives. Highly recommend. However, the reimbursement formula varies from standard insurance. The eligible amount of reimbursement is determined after the coinsurance option you pick has been applied. This results in their paying less than they would in a traditional deductible/coinsurance arrangement. I still like Pets Best, but was surprised by this unusual policy language.”

“It’s not cheap as your dog gets older, but when I needed them they have come through without a hitch (for now! I will update if that changes) but honestly I couldn’t be more thankful for them helping me to have the resources to take care of my aging dog with all the love and care he deserves. Would definitely recommend”

“The yearly premium increases are astronomical. They won’t let me add rx to my plan without cancelling my whole policy, eliminating pre existing conditions. Claims often need appeals. They just denied an ear cleaning related to an ear infections appointment. My dog just turned 5 and I only have 5k in coverage. There is no reason for skyrocketing premiums.”

“It takes forever to get a refund, and they ask you to set a default payment method in order to receive it. We set it up, and they still sent the refund to my bank account instead of the default payment method. Very disappointed. I do not recommend this pet insurance.”
