“For awhile they took about a month to complete and claim, but that has drastically improved to ~under a week. They have covered a lot for me over the years. I have learned overtime though that I need to make sure the Dr has very specific language in the care plan to ensure it's covered on the first claim attempt, but that's just the insurance industry we all know and love. Overall couldn't be happier I have the insurance at a very reasonable rate.”

“We've been with pets best for several years and have had a pretty good experience. They have improved their claim experience turn around time to less than a week. Not finding any greater cost comparison than other companies. We will stay with this company!”

“Very easy to file a Claim through the website and the App. On the few occaisions I have had to call the experience is always positive. Agents are pleasant, professional and never try to rush.”

“It’s hard to give a review on this since I’ve been using them for years and the insurance has always been great, but I got a new dog and I’m having issues where I do not get any reimbursement because the dog had a parasite that even when the parasite has been cleared, they won’t reimburse because they’re claiming the dog had the parasite before the insurance which is understandable but even when the parasite is gone, I keep getting the same message and they won’t reimburse so even though I’m loyal to the company I would like to get reimbursed for the thousands of dollars I put in now that my dog has been free of all parasites even with new claims getting the same email saying it was an existing condition which it is not”

“I have used Pets Best to insure my 3 cats for about the last 2 years. I recently submitted a large claim with Pets Best for one of my cats that needed an endoscopy to diagnose gastrointestinal issues. The claim submission process was quick (I simply uploaded the invoices from the vet), the claim was processed within a few days, and I received reimbursement about 10 days after submitting the claim. It was a very quick and easy process and it helped reduce some of the stress related to my cat's illness to know that I would not have large vet bills outstanding to pay. I am very happy with my decision to use Pets Best for my cats' medical insurance needs and I will continue to use them based on my recent experience.”

“We had to file our first claim and were not sure if it would be smooth. We found the process easy to submit the claim and the response and completion of our claim was handled in a timely manner. The explanation of the covered amounts was clearly explained.”

“So, turned in a submission for my dog 13 years old having something like a seizure every now and thenl. bought the meds and paid for doc visit. We pay close to $300.00 per month for coverage. We were denied. Just dosen't make sence to pay for coverage every month on a senior dog. I'll take care of her on my own.”
