I am so happy with my experience with Pets Best. They processed and paid all of the claims I submitted to them faster than I ever imagined was possible. I can’t even put into words what a relief it is to not have to worry about getting my dog the care she needs because I can count on them to do their part.

Just been difficult to figure all out. Probably not "company." After adopting puppy and signing up, trying to file with some er plus issues. Extremely challenging. With the help of our local vet they are helping me with. Calling directly twice great..once not good. And still need to figure out all other claims...

My rating is a 2.5. PB paid all of my claims because they were legitimate but as soon as they could they raised my premiums to $2400 yr for 2 dogs which is unfair. But they know I am stuck paying it bc my dogs now have preexisting conditions. They also take too long to process a claim unless it is a prescription refill. I believe in pet insurance, and was grateful for PB support but again, they are overcharging now.

The app is pretty annoying for starters. I’ll enter my login and it’ll make me confirm that it’s really me by email or text, which is fine. But sometimes it’ll make me constantly redo it over and over for some reason. After spending well over $1,000 for my dog I just now hit the $500 deductible which is so crazy considering there’s so much that they do actually cover but whatever. The claims process takes a very long time and if I knew this ahead of time I would’ve just went with a different pet insurance but once you have one you might as well stay because any preexisting conditions won’t be covered by the next. Just do some research before you join pets best basically. I feel like I’m spending $89 a month for no reason sometimes.

Definitely clunkier submission process and much longer wait time for claims than my previous pet insurance (Healthy Paws). The claim was finally paid, but I was a little put off by the fact that they exclude the "co-pay" from the amount of invoice submission that applies toward the deductible. This effectively meant that a $500 deductible with 20% co-insurance became a $600 exclusion before any claim money kicked in. I went back and re-read the policy and this is the methodology spelled out, but it would seem more ingenuous to just call it a $600 deductible with eligible charges beyond that being reimbursed at 80%.

I just submitted my first claim with Pets Best on 4-20-26 and ten days later the money was in my checking account. So far I am satisfied. It was very easy to file the claim, and 10 days to receive payment is reasonable.

My bulldog is the third pet I have had insured with Pets Best Health Insurane over the years. I have always had nothing but positive dealings with this company. Anytime I submit a claim, it is quickly reviewed and a fair reimbursement is deposited into my bank account in a timely manner.

I love how easy it was to submit a claim and get reimbursed. However, with a $500 deductible and $144 in copays, I only got $77 back on a $812 bill. I know going forward my deductible is covered for the year but I've never heard of copays at a Vet and my previous per insurance didn't have copays. It was disappointing and made me wonder if my $100+ a month insurance bill is worth it.

We've had enough difficulty interning with their app and website that I've through about leaving. On the upside i am able to communicate via e mail and they do seem to reimburse us. Though it's difficult to keep track because I don't get any paper billing and I can't access the website portal.
