“We have 2 dogs, a French Bulldog and a Boston Terrier. We know the short nose dogs can have health issues. We never expected at 2 years old our beloved Boston would suffer 2 herniated vertebrae in his neck. C3 & C4 fully ruptured out the bottom of the disc. It was a sudden explosion of pain sending Oddie into screaming fits of uncontrollable pain. The end results were spinal surgery with weeks of physical therapy and pain medication to teach him to function in a healthy way so he can have years of a good quality of life. Without Pets Best there would have been no alternative other then euthanasia. We could never have covered the cost without this insurance policy. Our primary Vet was so impressed with the excellent recovery he is making. All because Pets Best was there to stand behind the policy. They accepted his claim and paid so timely that we we never forced to choose between saving our pup or letting him go. Thank you Pets Best.”

“Claims are paid fast. The benefits and services covered are very good. The website is easy to use. My only complaint is that the price has skyrocketed. I started my plan in 2018 and since then (to 2024) my premium has almost tripled. I'm sure the fact that Synchrony acquired Pets Best in 2019 put additional pressure to increase prices for more profit and, of course, the explosion of pandemic pets and generally high inflation including vet and drug prices play a big part. With the much higher prices, it really is no longer worth it and I probably wouldn't buy it for my next dog... which is unfortunate because it does make me "feel" better having it despite knowing I would most likely come out ahead paying everything out of pocket.”

“Our pups are 4 1/2 years old now and we started them with Pet's Best when they were puppies. Pet's best has been really good about any health needs that have come up. There have been times where the processing time was a bit long, but they have always come through. This last experience with an ear infection and allergies was superb. They processed the claim and reimbursed us really quickly. I recommend co-workers and friends to Pet's Best all the time.”

“Claims process is easy. When I needed help it was readily available. Only reason I didn't rate them a 5 was, I took my dog in for her 2nd rabies shot a week earlier than last year. Since it wasn't a full year, the rabies shot wasn't covered. Wish they would cover by the shot, and not the calendar year. But other than that, I am satisifed with the insurance.”
