“I paid $204 a month for insurance for one dog. My insurance has gone up over $100 per month over the past few years due to a preexisting condition typical to my dog’s specific breed. I submitted a $226 vet bill for two deep puncture wounds my dog received. I received a $45 refund for this $226 invoice which had nothing to do with my dog’s preexisting condition. $100 was deducted for a deductible and his antibiotics were not covered. This is outrageous.”

“I have had nothing but good experiences with PetsBest. You pay a bit more up front (out of pocket and then reimbursed as opposed to direct pay to vet) but I find the coverage and the experience better than with some of the more well known plans. I’ve recommended PetsBest to all of my pet parent friends.”

“Very poor service, got the run around. I submitted a claim, it was weeks before I heard anything then suddenly I recieved notification that they were unable to obtain my pets medical records that I need to contact my vet. I contacted my vet, they faxed the records to the fax number provided, I obtained a copy of my pets medical records and submitted them as instructed, then 2 days later I recieved an email from PetsBest stating they closed my claim as a result of not recieving the documents within the time frame in which time they had the records in their possesion, so I cancelled my policy. Just 1 week ago I recieved notification from PetsBest stating they have reviewed my pets medical records and approved my claim for reimburstment. I have all of the corrospondance emails regarding this matter and will present them to an attorney to see if there are any options.”

“My dog has had a rough year. First, he ate a couple naproxen which is quite toxic. Spent a few days in ICU, but managed to survive. Plus it’s almost been a year since we started testing and then treating for his many environmental allergies which were linked to a couple other issues. Through it all, PetsBest has been great! I’ve agreed with their decisions on what they decide to cover or not. Reimbursements have been received in about one month after submission. Reasons for any denials are clearly explained. Claims are fairly easy to submit online. They should tell you upfront that each invoice should be filed as a separate claim. Also, the invoices should not have any handwritten notes on them nor be highlighted. Things I tend to do. In the end, it all worked out and I’m so thankful for the service provided by PetsBest.”

“first time I took out pet insurance- Pets Best is easy to use, quick to respond, very fair - thought I ‘d only use it for catastrophic illnesses, I am VERY VERY VERY pleased because they offset a lot of veternary costs that are not heart- wrenching… thank you guys- appreciate your professionalism”

“They really work hard to get your claim completed and if it takes longer than they think it supposed to they email you and let you know that they re working on it and apologize for the delay. I have recommended them and will recommend them. Very happy with them.”
