“We purchase the insurance before taking or dog to the vet and finding that he needed monthly allergy shots, but before the waiting period was over. I feel that, since it had been purchased beforehand, it should not be considered to be preexisting. Shame on whoever decided this. I’m”

“Was good at first but now it’s not so good. Seems like we spend an awful lot for a very small return which is disappointing as our dog is affected by some things we really would’ve liked to be covered. I don’t know if we’ll make any changes but the cost/benefit ratio isnt great at this time.”

“Our dog suffered an immune-mediated response causing uveitis and retinal detachment in both eyes, ultimately resulting in the loss of one eye. Then, the immune-suppressive therapy he was placed on impacted his liver, resulting in a 7-day stay in a veterinary critical care unit. Fortunately for us, Pets Best was with us every step of the way. Claim submission is simple and its processing is quick. If you're looking for insurance for your pet, you can't go wrong choosing Pets Best.”

“Very disappointed that you did not pay for covered expenses that occurred during the year’s policy period. We’ve submitted them this way for years and now you’ve decided to deny anything submitted later this 180 days after the service. Now we know. We lost $1,000 because of you’re denying these. Shame on you!”

“I honestly don’t recommend this pet insurance. I previously had the Wellness plan, and it barely helped with routine expenses. I switched to the Illness coverage, but unfortunately, many of the claims and treatments submitted still aren’t covered. Overall, the coverage has been disappointing and not worth the cost for me.”

“Better and easier to work with than human insurance by MILES. Literally night and day. Up front about coverage. You rarely (i only say rarely bc I assume it can/has happened to others but not me) have to speak to anyone to get anything covered. Their coverage outlines are very easy to understand. Med list is given up front so you know the second the vet recommends something whether or not it’s covered. This insurance has saved my sanity when my dog’s life was a stake and I didnt have it in me to argue with an insurance person who just wanted to do it for the money. Please never sell this company to a PE firm.”
