Pets Best has been essential for our German Shepherd as he's gotten older and experienced some health issues. The Pets Best portal makes filing claims very simple and reimbursements happen automatically after they are processed. I have recommended Pets Best to several friends based on our experience.

Policy is as described. Service is very slow. No customer service to talk to except email, which auto replies. Not happy with the service but the policies are what I signed up for.

I’ve had PetsBest since 2020, the claims process has definitely improved over the years. Still a bit upset that they are linking non-issues to allergies from a 13 week puppy visit to a 2 year full blown allergy attack. Even with 3 specialists writing a letter that they ARE NOT related the adjusters word is final. So purchase insurance the day you bring your pup home.

Great insurance, fair pricing, good payout after deductible and ability to tailor the policy to fit your needs. Would recommend. Sometimes payouts take a while, so that is something to consider if it’s important to you.

Best Best was amazing when my dog was going through surgeries and testing to find out what was going on. Anytime I had to reach out to them they were very helpful and courteous. They have a couple of different ways to submit your claims, and very detailed explanation of benefits. I highly recommend them.

So far they have provided benefits with no hidden restrictions. Review of claims have been quick and efficient - or they communicate if there are any delays. App is hit and miss.

The time it takes to process a recurrent simple claim is ridiculous.

The turn around time once you submit a claim is nearly a full month before the claim is processed, and even longer until you receive reimbursement. The wait time is ridiculous.

Pets Best Pet Health Insurance is wonderful! It is taken into consideration what procedures are followed as well as medications, and often pays approximately 80% back. Notifications are made regarding how much is paid out and what it is for, in advance.

I’m still waiting for my money for a refund of what I paid to my veterinarian. It’s been since December 30 so I think that’s a little bit too long. Really would like my money back.

I have been a customer for 8 years. Good customer service and claims process, but the yearly premium increases are excessive. My monthly cost went up about $20 per pet in one year, which is very hard to justify. Also, the website and app were down or unreliable for months, and we didn’t get an explanation until months later from the CEO, which is not acceptable for such a major issue. I’ve had to reduce coverage for my three cats because I can’t afford it anymore, and switching isn’t really an option due to pre-existing conditions. Good service, but pricing and communication are serious problems.

I am not very satisfied with Pets Best due to how long they take to process claims. It should not take an entire month to process a claim, especially when it is for the same medication my dog has been on consistently for his chronic condition, Cushing’s disease. What is frustrating is that every month, on the same day, they are very prompt in charging my premium, never late, (which is very expensive)but that same efficiency does not apply when it comes to reimbursing claims. Because of this ongoing delay, my overall experience has been disappointing.

Good policies, fair prices, though support when you need it is hard to obtain. My dog died and despite repeatedly emailing and calling them, Pets Best continued to take premiums that weren't due. If PB fixes the customer service side of their business, it would be an easy recommend. Difficult to do that when the time you need support most is when you don't get it.
