“My dog recently had a very expensive emergency surgery and hospital stay due to a bowel obstruction. Pet’s Best made the claim process easy, and the explanation of benefits was emailed within 4 days. Too bad our policy was only for $5000….vet emergencies are so expensive!!”

“This insurance has disappointed me in their pay out of vet services tha were done on my pet. They don't pay for ear infections that appear in my dog at different times because they consider this ongoing. But they come months apart for each one so I guess for the life of my dog her infections will never be covered as a new illness. And the cleaning and treatment performed to help make ears better also isn't covered as they say it is ongoing but in reality she has been treated and cured of that infection and then will get one later. Just disappointed with it all. I'm not saying they don't pay but not for everything that I thought they would.”

“Pets Best seems to be an honest and reliable pet insurance company. I have made a couple of claims and they were quick to explain deductibles and co pays and payments. I have dogs all my life and this is the first time I have insured one and so far I am happy with their service.”

“First off, insurance ain't cheap. But when you need it and it helps remove the layer of worry during a stressful and emotional time, Pets Best treated us well. They quickly notified us of our policy status and did not jerk us around. I really appreciate that as we're facing some rough times.”

“I had recently purchased Pets Best pet health insurance only to suspect my feline had gotten into a piece of dental floss my husband had left in a drawer. It was an emergency situation and we rushed him to an Animal Emergency Room. After meeting with the vet and having testing done, I had a rather large bill. I submitted it to their Claims department and within 1 week was notified that the 90% payment from them would be in my bank account in 5 to 7 days. Very happy I got insurance for my kitten. It made me not hesitate to get the emergency care he needed. Thank you!”

“Absolutely awful! Spoke with employee prior to buying insurance and specifically asked if dental insurance would be covered as I was expecting a a cleaning and procedure for my dog that was dental related. I was told yes, it was covered with the policy I was planning to select. Procedure happened and almost everything was denied stating that the services were not covered, leaving me on the hook financially for almost $600! They are hard to reach, delay claims without telling you why until you call, and are unresponsive. I would not recommend this insurance for anyone!”

“Virtually none of the services were covered. Only one procedure was covered with high deductible in spite of taking expanded coverage. Very disappointed please explain the lack of partial coverage for only 1 item.”

“Pets Best responded quickly and fairly to multiple claims. They allowed us to focus on helping our puppy through a tough injury. We’ve had very different experiences with other insurers. I highly recommend Pets Best.”
