“Ease of filing a claim. Logged onto the portal, located the right place to file a claim, was able to complete the filing and easily attached the supporting documentation and filed the claim. The review took 2-3 days and the reimbursement is in the works.”

“Overall, I feel they do a great job. Processing is usually pretty quick. The only one area I would like to seem them make changes to keep up with rising costs is their reimbursement for wellness care. Vaccinations and preventative medicines have increased and the benefits, doesn’t really offer much of a return and the amounts have remained the same for quite some time.”

“Most claims go through smoothly and are processed within a reasonable timeframe. But when a mistake happens, it takes entirely too long to get it corrected. I’m still waiting for a correction to a claim from. 8/12.”

“I have accidental insurance and when my cat had an accidental tooth fracture, they paid for the vet visit but at first didn’t pay for the tooth extraction surgery from the accident. They did not take the time to request information needed even when I clarified it was for the accidental tooth fracture. They tried not covering the surgery at first, but I wrote an appeal and got a letter from my vet and eventually they covered it. It took them nearly two months to finally reimburse me. I did not care for the procedure of doing the appeal and not having any communication of the status of it. I wish they had it in their website rather than just through an email.”

“It is really easy submit a claim BUT the first year I paid $600 and the second year they went up 50% to over $900. I would not recommend them but I am stuck since another insurance would claim her knee pre-existing condition. I would go with lemonade per insurance”
