“They pay on time usually. 90% of the time. It's not too expensive if you have young dogs, but once my dogs hit seven, they started doubling the premiums. It was ridiculous. But what can you do when they're that old they already have conditions that you've been taking care of, and you can't stop the policy and go somewhere else. So you're stuck. But it's not a bad company . Just very expensive. And they changed owners about a year and a half or two years ago and they've kind of sucked more since then.”

“They have been awesome with both of our little ones. Our little girl has a chronic liver problem and they have covered numerous medical bills and medicines. Could not ask for anyone better.”

“Good value for price paid, easy claims submission and payment process, if you keep up with and file your expenses, the amount reimbursed for well care essentially offsets the price difference between accident-only and “total” coverage. Having a wrinkly breed prone to skin issues (pug), this just makes sense.”

“Outstanding pet health insurance company! They are attentive, responsive and quick in providing resolution to a claim. They are quick to pay your claim. I have 2 dogs that are on our plan.”

“Good not great. Pet insurance is expensive, and Pet's Best has a lot they do not cover. Particularly annoying to me was that years ago, one of my dogs was diagnosed with a leg deformity. The deductible was applied. When the treatment was made in a subsequent renewal year two weeks later, another deductible was applied. I felt that this was essentially the same claim and a second deductible should not apply.”

“I am a little disappointed by PB as I found them not really cover much of my bills for my doggie. I am also disappointed with how much they have made me deal with lore by trying to get them more paperwork or documentation after knowing we had to euthanize my doggie. The app is absolutely awful and I fear say that my experience with their website was not much better. I hope they pay more out on my doggie’s final claims as the bills added up very quickly and my financial situation has not been great.”

“We have been with pets best for 4+ years and really like them. Claims are settled quickly and reimbursements are paid in a timely manner. Premium goes up every year but that’s with every company. Everything is cut and dry in the policy and spelled out so there are no surprises. Highly recommend.”

“I am writing to share concerns regarding issues with your application’s automated messaging and claims workflow. Despite sending the requested medical records multiple times—both directly and through the veterinary hospital—to the same email address specified in the automated messages, I have continued to receive repeated notifications stating that the records are still pending. This has required unnecessary duplicate emails and has caused confusion and frustration, as the attachments were sent exactly as instructed. The automated responses did not accurately reflect the status of the submitted documents, which made the process inefficient and, at times, quite discouraging. I respectfully ask that this issue be reviewed and corrected so claims processing can be more reliable and streamlined going forward.”
