“Horrible customer service. Medical records from various vets were sent repeatedly. They claimed that faxes sent at my expense were never received. Various vets claimed there was no contact from them to obtain medical records. All in all, a terrible experience. However, a reimbursement check was received, but not before constant communication with pets best insurance. Sorry-I do not recommend this pet insurance.”

“This insurance company is getting worse. It's very difficult to get your claims approved and reimbursed, they don't even review the information you submitted, just deny the claims even when you are sending everything they asked for. I have been a customer for years, and it wasn't like this before. They also have increased my premiums significantly.”

“I find the claim submission process to be very straight forward and easy to navigate. Communications after the submission are thorough and prompt. When I have had the need to contact customer service, associates have been quick to reply and answer my questions. Approved claims are paid quickly. Overall, I've been very happy with this service for my 14-year old yellow lab mix.”

“Thank you for handling the claim for Oso Milo. I adopted him on 8/23 from a shelter. he ingested a foreign object within 2 weeks of being at my home. Pets Best took the claim and handled it with precision. Not knowing what the problem was, I took him to an urgent care first who then referred him to an emergency hospital to have surgery to remove the foreign object from his intestines. This object turned out to be a piece of a corn cob, he didn't get it from my home, but he must've picked it up on a walk, which is the only thing I can think of could've happened, he is healing nicely. My claims have both been resolved and paid and I'm just waiting on the check to show up in my bank account. I appreciate you helping in this matter. I appreciate how quick and easy it was to make the claim and how you did the backend work of getting the medical records for us. this was my very first time to ever use pet insurance. My last pup did not have it and ended up costing me over $13,000 just to have to put him down in the end. It was devastating to know that my dog after being with me for two weeks was sick and not knowing what the problem was. I had the best conversation with one of your agents. I wish I could remember her name. She was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, especially since the policy was not fully enforce. his accident portion was, but not the illness portion and when I took him to the vet, I had no clue what was wrong with him, but as soon as I found out I called and she was able to help me understand how the policy for accidents works. I appreciate everything. I hope I never have to use my insurance again, but knowing that it's there gives me peace to know that Oso Milo will be taken care of. thank you.”
