“Was insured for years and luckily never had to use. The first time I used I was surprised how little was covered have 90percent with 250 deductible. Also had to wait month for the little I did receive”

“They have an excuse for everything and pay nothing. They said exceeded my maximum annual limit for wellness when i pay for no maximum. They don't pay for shots or heartworm. They'll just take your money. Stay away!! They owe me thousands!”

“The insurance itself is great. Lots of coverage and options. The claims processing is not great. The representatives are fine but processing times are 30 days or more even for repetitive services. Medical records are often requested for services we get every month which further delays processing.”

“Pets best does your claims in a timely manner. Ive had one issue with my dog which I had to do several test for. I recieved my money back . It was a great relief. Web site is also easy to use.”

“If you asked me to rate Pets Best a week ago, it would be zero stars. I’ll be honest, after multiple weeks of my claims getting denied, I was very close to just cancelling my plan. I was getting so frustrated and I had over $3,000 in surgery bills on my credit card. So when I called, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by a woman named Luann. She was friendly and determined to get my problem resolved. She called my vet with me on the phone seeking the information she needed and walked me through everything I could be missing. She said she would monitor my account to make sure everything processed this week (I took that lightly as I know sometimes customer service makes false promises). On Wednesday I got another email that my claim was closed and denied. I was MAD. I called again and got a different representative who tried to fix the issue. I hung up frustrated and defeated. Until my phone rang 30 minutes later and it was Luann! She was just as mad as me that it wasn’t resolved. Long story short, she got everything approved while on the phone with me. She was an angel!!!! She went above and beyond to make sure I received my reimbursement and truly showed she cared. I told her how nice it was for her to do this and she replied “I’m glad to help you but I’m just doing my job”. You can’t “train” empathy. She didn’t have to do anything beyond her scope of work but she did. If it weren’t for her, I would’ve probably cancelled my plan when I finally received my reimbursement. So Luann, THANK YOU! You deserve a giant raise!!”

“I have no complaints about my Pets Best insurance. I know what I signed up for as coverage and I have been satisfied with the EOB for each claim. Veterinary care is expensive and it gives me piece of mind to have coverage even when the annual cost of premiums at times exceeds my vet bill. I’d rather have the insurance than not.”
