“Have used Pet's Best for two years, paid them $700. Per year and they reimburse almost nothing towards my dogs routine exams and necessary medications. I am cancelling this insurance. An absolute waste of money.”

“We have had a great experience so far. The only complaint would be that I'm not sure the emails are actually read by a person. I had To send several different things to prove my dog was 8 weeks when I got Him and bought the insurance. Very redundant since I out his DOB when I signed Up.”

“The far too frequent times when your website is unavailable really gets ridiculous. The actual insurance is fine but if I cannot submit a claim (sometimes for days), it is a problem.”

“I can't say enough good things about Pets Best. They processed my claims quickly...when I had questions, I called and they thoroughly explained my benefits, etc. During an extremely stressful time with our beloved dog, they were kind, caring and patient with me. I am so thankful....thank you Pets Best”

“Claims process is not fully explained or steps provided creating confusion, delays and little frustration with declined and/or request for submission of documents. The Help Desk folks were very helpful, but the direction with specificities were minimal. After the 5th attempt and last call to Help Desk, I FINALLY understood the mistakes made and avoid the next round. Again, the folks I spoke to were helpful and pleasant.”

“Excellent service, great guidance when submitting claims. Easy to contact with questions. Must submit invoice paid upfront and document regarding treatment. Money reimbursed within 3 weeks. Our dog Skye, a 110 pound bully pitbull was diagnosed with lymphoma on 8/18/22. He had approximately 60 chop chemo treatments for lymphoma, at UF VET HOSPITAL in Gainesville. Fl for 4 years and 1 month with quality of life. A miracle that would not have occurred without Pets Best Insurance. He managed to live to the age of 7 years and 9 months. He passed away on 9/19/26. 90% of all bills were paid by Pets Best. $500 yearly deductible. Pets Best handled a major unexpected illness and helped give my dog quality of life. God did too!”

“I added my second dog to my policy thinking they would have the same coverage, however that was not the case. I noticed it on a Sunday and was going to make a call to speak to someone, but they were closed on Sunday. My 30 day timeline ended that Sunday to make any changes. I am highly frustrated that there was no consideration to help me out. I offered to back pay what I would be owed, but still no consideration. I picked your company because I’m a long time dedicated union person and through my union you are the company that has the contract. We are not talking about days, weeks or months past the 30 day or I wouldn’t have wasted anyone’s time by asking for any consideration. I constantly talked to the union members I would work with to get the pet insurance through AFSCME thinking it was a great deal. One very unhappy client,”

“We have had Pets Best Insurance for 20 years. We had previous competing companies before Pets Best and nothing stands up to them! They are thorough and very fast with their reimbursements. I can’t say enough good things about them. I know that my pets will be taken care of, and I don’t have to worry about not being reimbursed for something. In this day of rising Vet bills, pet insurance is a must! Please do yourself a favor and get Pets Best!!”
