“I’ve had Pest Best insurance for my dog for years and it has always been a good experience. They cover what they say they will on the policy without trying to deny coverage at random, and they are super quick to process claims! It really helps to know that I wouldn’t have to make hard decisions about my dog’s health because I know that she is covered.”

“I’ve had Pets Best insurance now for over three years and have three dogs covered. The process to submit a claim is the easiest experience I’ve had. The processing time is extremely quick and easy to understand. Highly recommend!!”

“The claim was reviewed and processed in a timely fashion, which was fantastic. I completely understand why the supplements weren't covered. However, I did have an issue with the less-than-consumer-friendly representation of the deductible. The outward claim is a $1,000 deductible with 90% coverage of all expenses. While the fine details of the contract can be reviewed, it's not worded in a consumer friendly way, which can be extremely misleading. For example, the way most human insurance companies work, if my coverage were $1K deductible with 90% coverage, I would expect to be reimbursed $900 on a $2K bill. However, the way Pets Best works is that they take the 90% they would have covered and take the deductible out of that 90%--leading to a reimbursement of $800. This essentially means that there's a $1,100 dedictbile, as the deductible is not based upon what I'm paying, but what Pets Best agrees to cover. While their contract might state that, their website where you sign up for the plan is VERY misleading and not at all consumer friendly. Also, they raised my rates a great deal after the first year, claiming that my dog Luke turning seven was to blame. Their increase was $30 a month, almost entirely attributable to his policy (there are two dogs on the policy). So, while they did process and pay my claim very, very quickly, they also have some unfriendly consumer practices that I do not appreciate. I will maintain my business with them because of the claim processing time, but I wish they were a little more transparent in their business practices.”

“Don’t deliver as advertised. First they make sure deductible is covered then after that benefits for what ever (wellness accuracies) has been met so no money is do and payable. I felt confident to take my fur baby in for dental and was told my maximum amount due had been met. She still needs two extractions and with this worthless insurance I’m sure it will cost between she has to go to a dog dentist veterinarian can’t do what needs to be done. They have NEVER covered 90% of anything.”

“They have always been good to us. When I have had questions I can call and easily speak with a real person who is patient and understanding. The premiums have been reasonable and the claims are processed quickly and fairly. We recommend them to every single dog parent. We feel really fortunate to have them for all of our dogs. The first thing I do when we get a pet or someone in our family gets a pet is get a plan with pets best. If I could rate them as a 12/10 I would.”

“I’ve had the worst experience recently. You denied a claim off a false statements. I’ve been a member for over 4 years paying monthly. I filed an appeal and have heard nothing back. What it feels like is you’re avoiding paying something if it’s a little larger ticket item. It’s bad business and customer service helped with zero. They couldn’t even tell me the dates, even asking over and over. I’m very upset and of the appeal isn’t seen, I will take another course of legal action.”
