“The worse customer service ever. Each time I’ve called the representatives are not friendly and they have no understanding or patience. Also the hold tone is about an hour or so each time. And don’t have to file a claim. It takes over a month for reimbursement, they will just keep sending you an email saying sorry for the delay. Even if it’s your 2nd claim on same pet. Or will still take over a month although they already had his medical records. Also the app doesn’t work fully and is always down and not working. I regret getting this pet insurance. The customer service is BEYOND HORRIBLE!! Stay away from this company.”

“Pet's Best is good for major expenses for my two German Shepherds. For the regular ongoing care of my dogs and the inevitable infection, hotspot, and other less serious injuries or medical issues, I feel like a pay a TON of money and don't get reimbursed for much. I had to raise my deductible just to afford the yearly cost. I'm not sure if it's actually worth it. Usually they are timely with responding to claims, but often it takes weeks only to find the message - "applied to yearly deductible", or "not a covered expense." I am not thrilled”

“Consistently when I've submitted a claim, after about 2 weeks I get an email saying "Sorry for the delay"! I would appreciate a quicker response to my claims.”

“Very disappointed, paid in full for the year for 2 policies and have yet to talk to anyone that will help me with my submissions. The online app is terrible. Emailed 6 times. No one will call me back. I can’t recommend. Just want my $333 back!!”

“I’ve never had any complaints about my coverage with Pets Best. Reimbursement is always fair. The only problem I have is the length of time it takes to get reimbursed. There are always processing delays which is frustrating. Especially when there is no valid reason for the delay.”

“I’m very pleased with Pets Best. I had a different insurance previously and I thought it became so expensive because my dog lived to 18. When I adopted a new younger girl, just six years old, they quoted me the same price. I compared lots of different plans and a friend recommended Pets Best. This plan is way more affordable, and I just used it for the first time for an ER visit and it worked out great.”

“I would have given 5 stars except my most recent claim was not paid correctly. I bundled 6 months of vetoryl prescriptions but was only paid for the first one. I resubmitted each paid invoice as a separate claim and I hope for prompt claim payment.”
