Sometimes it takes a while to recieve payment, but other than than we have been very happy with Pet's Best.

I have 2 small breed dogs. After having a dramatic life/death experience with our 1 yr. old furbaby pup needing emergency surgery on Christmas day and a lonely 2 night stay at the Vet and a tramatizing vet bill of $3K, decided to look into pet insurance. After hours of researching and reading reviews, I decided on Pets Best. Luckily, no incidences the first year, but that's what insurance is for ... in case insurance. Into our 2nd year, unfortunately on a Sunday, my furbaby was vomiting, shaking and lathargic, took her for an ER visit and walked out with an $800 bill, included RX, x-rays etc. My first time having to file a claim ... It was simple, fast and my reimbursement check was mailed & received fast, considering I live in Hawaii and too, did have a choice for a direct deposit. Pets Best in the BEST!

I was surprised by the low reinbursement rate for wellness visits. I don't remember it being so limited. The website is easy to use and customer service is very responsive when there was a problem uploading docs to the online claim center. Overall, I'm enjoyoing the insurance. I have used it 3 times in 6 months.

We recently switched to Pets Best insurance and while I’m happy to have coverage, there are some weak areas compared to other insurance policies I’ve had with other companies over the years. Claims seem to take much longer to process (up to several weeks) and the app and online access are constantly bugging and require reloading to access account information, process claims, etc. I also was surprised to see a copay percentage deducted from the out-of-pocket amount we’d paid toward the deductible; I was under the impression (as in all other pet insurance plans I’ve had) that the copay was only deducted AFTER reaching your deductible amount.

Going through a pet emergency is incredibly stressful, but this insurance team made the claims process seamless. They covered the medical bills exactly as promised and did it in a timely manner without any hassle. They truly deliver when you need them most. Thank you for the great service!

I don’t dislike Pets Best but I’m not happy with the amount of times that I get emailed saying that my invoice is not itemized or there’s a problem with it. I have had some as many as three or four times and it is itemized and I do have an invoice and I do have a receipt paid. It is very frustrating and the fact that you don’t allow cross outs and white out I understand that, but I can’t help with the Vet does and they’re not always willing to rewrite everything over and over again to accommodate your company, but I will say once the review is over and everything is fine you mail out the checks very timely and everything is Fine but I’m not 100% sure I will renew when my contract is up.

For the most part I’ve been happy with our coverage. The claims are usually easy to file though lately I’ve had claims I’ve had to call about several times as they were not clear on what they needed. They wanted something different than had been required in the past. It seems to get straightened out eventually. I do wish they covered prescription food prescribed by the vets for treatment of a sick dog. Also, nutrition services recommended by the vets for treatment of illness. Maybe this will come one day! I like the flexibility and how you can customize your plan to your needs.

I previously would have given five out of five. What I like: it is easy to submit claims on the app. They cover rehab treatments. The agents are nice. But recently a lot has changed. They are now using more AI to determine claims, which has led to my having to call for each claim to have it reviewed by a human (the AI has been denying claims that are then approved by the human). They used to call the vet for more info; now the claim is just denied by the AI.

1.Emails from you do not identify what issue for which your reply relates. While you relate date of service and claim # of issue you are addressing, when I have multiple claims submitted I can't tell which is being addressed. Simple tell me on the email what diagnosis or issue you are addressing. Can't be that hard. 2. Unable to download (access) your data provided with your email. I don't think it is a problem on my computer. 2. Unable to use on line communication
