“Generally an accommodating dog insurance company. No real issues with claims handling/ response. I have been with PB since 2023 HOWEVER; I have recently been obligedd to submit several claims because our small dog (12 yrs old Hav/Malt mix) has developed anaplasmosis, this condition is curable but requires long term care. He also has some blood issues and a possible growth on an adrenal gland (to be investigated later), discovered on an ultrasound image. I recently contacted PB (website) to check on claims progress and found myself "blocked" when submitting an additional claim. I called and asked to speak to a manager. The manager (I won't name here here) was very cooperative and explained that PB is experiencing some "issues" as a result of some systems/software upgrades/changes. I mentioned that I had heard this same explanation some months ago. I am still "blocked", despite this manager providing new verification/temp. password. I have been assured that this manager will personally call me early this week to resolve this vexing issue and get me back into the system. Meanwhile, I am submitting claims via the email address provided by the manager. I will be posting this review on Yelp and Google reviews Onwards !”

“Very easy to take pics of the vet bills and services, and sunlit a claim on the phone via the Pets Best app. Timely review and payment to my bank account. Happy Camper!!”

“I wish they were more helpful with lingering issues- it feels like it’s 100% on me to badger them and my vet to get records sent back and forth. I’ll send records that they aren’t able to open etc etc but I’m not sure why. An ongoing issue has been a problem since November and I feel like I’m paying for a service that I’m not benefiting from. I’ve used pets best for years and have had a great experience until this.”

“Claims process is extremely easy, it makes it so simple to get to a “no” answer. I’ve submitted multiple claims and I’m still amazed at how amazingly consistent the company is at being absolutely useless. Some insurance companies give you the run around or make you wait, not pets best, they don’t even give any run around and just always default to “no way Jose, never in a million years”. Some websites have all these menus and pages to navigate to what you need, not pets best, their website is just 3 pages. It makes it so easy to realize that they’re running the most bare bones of a business. 10/10 would recommend if you want to absolutely hate your life.”

“Pets best insurance is the BEST! I was incredibly grateful for accepting my senior dog and approving her recent dementia diagnosis. Through very tough circumstances, Pets best is sincerely on your side. I will be a customer for life even after my first love is at the rainbow bridge. All my new puppies will be covered with pets best as they are just wonderful. Also, I will say the claims process is super simple and easy to upload! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Pets best!!”

“In a time of need Pets Best was there for me and my golden retriever Sky. Sky was diagnosed with a brain tumor and needed radiation treatment to save her life, without insurance there would have been a different outcome. The reimbursement was pretty quick once I submitted my invoice. I highly recommend Pets Best!”

“Great insurance together when your dog is a puppy. If you do need to make a claim monitor Responses, sometimes AI reviews your case and will decline on a technicality. In those cases you need to call to appeal. Once a claim is approved it takes just over a week to be reimbursed.”

“Claims are easy and their prices are reasonable. I wish my dogs injury had not happened but it did and I just wish it could have been before my policy renewed. We had already met half of of our deductible. Now we've met the whole deductible.”
