“I have no complaints about my Pets Best insurance. I know what I signed up for as coverage and I have been satisfied with the EOB for each claim. Veterinary care is expensive and it gives me piece of mind to have coverage even when the annual cost of premiums at times exceeds my vet bill. I’d rather have the insurance than not.”

“Not a problem. but got stung on the formulary meds. Is it possible to make a searchable forulary rather than one you have to download. At the doctors I need a way of finding alternatives quickly”

“Pets Best insurance for my Belgian malinois dog has been very professional, accurate and accomodating when I have had questions. I have submitted several claims for illness, injury, vaccinations and flea protection. All of these claims were handled professionally and there have been no surprises (i.e. I knew in advance what would be applied to the deductible and what would be paid to me).”

“In general, my experience has been good. There are occasional delays with payment processing, but I do appreciate that during those delays Pets Best is good about communicating what is going on and making sure we understand the delay.”

“This review is for Wendy. She was able to resolve an extremely frustrating claim issue by just doing the little extra. Understood the issue, involved a supervisor, expedited the process, AND called me shortly after to assure me the issue was being addressed, and turns out she was right. I got the resolution I needed. Thank you, Wendy!”

“Always a let down with Pets Best. You take my premium right on time every month but take your time with claims. Both my dogs required medical records for claims. Both times you faxed the vet for records even after me telling you my vet doesn’t use fax, he uses email which I provided. Both times I got denial letters because you never got the records. Then I have to call you again to remind you my vet doesn’t use fax. SO frustrating!!”

“Absolutely horrible. I am paying consistently for this insurance and having absolutely nothing covered, even though my policy states that it should be covered. I have specifically recommended to every single person that asks to absolutely not use this company.”

“Pets Best is the 2nd pet insurance company that I've tried. I highly recommend them. Although premiums have gone up each year, i'm still saving money for my dogs. They reimburse me in a timely manner and the process is easy.”

“These people are litterally a scam. Been with this company for a year and had no problems at all up until I called in January of 2026 to get my policy changed to the essential Instead of the wellness . So o was paying 80 dolars already. Asked to lower it back down to 60 they said okay and I hung up went on with my life then my payment goes from 80 to 95 instead of 60z I notice in March so I called to get it handled and the guy said I can’t change it until 2027 . And that I have to pay the 95 because I supposedly got an email about my policy changing. Which I got an email didn’t say anything about my policy going up 15 dolars at all.. and they can’t refund me because “it’s part of policy” If I were you I would go to a different pet insurance who isn’t going to give u a run for your money.”

“very easy to use, a month ago I would have recommended without reservation. However, my premium just went up 25%. I called to talk to Pets Best about it and waited on hold for 45 minutes which hasn't happened before. The phone agent was polite and knowledgeable but ultimately unhelpful in the face of the massive price increase. If there is a price increase like this again it definitely won't be worth it, and I will shop around now to compare prices.”
