“Have been with Pets Best for 8 years (2 pups). When our dog had to have a very expensive surgery, it was covered. Their customer service, particularly over the phone, has also been excellent when we've had specific questions. Would highly recommend!”

“Not sure if I'm the one you want to ask for a review at this time. I submitted a claim for 490 dollars and got back a whopping 34 dollars and that was just for the Lipto medication. By the time they deduct the co pay and the deductable which miraculously adds the amount that was charged for that serivce so ZERO reimburstment until deductable is met and by the time the deductable is met your yearly policy renews and your back to having to meet your full deductable again. I pay $75.00 a month to get 70% back and very very rarely ever see that happen if at all. Kind of fustratrating. But you be the judge. There's two service's you have the option for Wellness and illness. Compare all the company's before you decide. Becarefull though changing or dropping your plan because it can limit your option's for health service's. Health ins. for animals are just as bad if not worse then human health Ins. Hope this helps. “Pets Best has been a good budget option for me, with very affordable rates initially. However, my premiums have increased dramatically as my dog has aged, despite never having submitted an accident or illness claim during my time as a policyholder. The initial affordability deserves credit, but the increases have made it less of a bargain over time. My biggest frustration is the claims process. In my experience, it feels like the company looks for reasons to reject a claim rather than help resolve documentation issues. I have run into objections over illegible writing, a missing receipt, “pay over time” language on a credit card statement, and owner information appearing on a different page from the invoice and payment details. I understand that claims require proper documentation, but the process has felt unnecessarily rigid and cumbersome. Clearer requirements upfront and a straightforward opportunity to correct missing information would make a significant difference. Pets Best gets credit for affordability, but the premium increases and frustrating claims experience keep me from recommending it without reservations. Paying for coverage is easy; using it should not feel like a paperwork obstacle course.”
