My Odin was Dx with cancer 3/19. Needless to say devastation hit hard. Knowing I had pet insurance took much weight off my shoulders. So easy to submit claims. I have submitted 6 since 3/19 and all have been reviews/approved and reimbursements are on there way directly deposited into my bank account. Every insurance besides 1 other (very expensive) has this waiting period. The waiting can be a little overwhelming especially when you’re fronting thousands but that’s indeed emotions flooding in. Pets Best is giving me more time with my best friend & I couldn’t be more thankful.

Only gripe I have is that you keep going up every time I make a claim the next review go up like a 75 to 100 bucks starting to turn into a car note😩

I am so glad that I was able to obtain insurance for my fur baby. We all know that having our pets, they can get into anything and most have illnesses that can become quite costly. This was the best decision to get this insurance. The turnaround to file your claim and in knowing if they approved it, is excellent. I love the feature of having an app to just check in on the benefits of the policy that I have for my fur baby.

We have coverage on two of our dogs, a 7 yr old Golden and a 3 yr old Aussie. Both of these guys have had "issues" that were several thousand dollars, and Pets Best had us reimbursed within 10 days or two weeks. No fussing, no arguing, just an emailed receipt & the $$ went right into my checking account. Never have I been disappointed.

I did not , though , appreciate having to go through two appeals to get my issue resolved with dog, Frieda's, bloodwork. BUT, I am not very satisfied due to the bloodwork being covered as it should. I usually do not have issues with Pets Best other than good. Long time customer and have always been happy with my plans.

Used to be great but over the last few months, website and app don't work. Ever. And now they don't seem to pay for what they advertise as covered. You'd do better to find another pet insurance company. I will.

I pay so much in premiums every month for many years and to get less than 30% of my pet's yearly bill paid is absurd. I will be leaving Pets best soon enough, total ripoff.

The lack of cummunication during the assessment of the claim was incredibly frustrating. Sending canned "your pending claim is delayed" is not enough. I called 3 times to get help, starting with the uploading process as your system glitched and created a duplicate entry (which I later found out is a common issue through comments online from other customers). The first time, the agent was wonderful and helpful. The other 2 times, I was given incorrect information about the pending claim and had to resubmit documents that were already received. It felt like the agents had no idea what was going on and were working off a script that they refused to get off of. It took almost 4 weeks to get an answer on the first claim we submitted and if I had not stayed on top of calling almost weekly for updates, I guarantee it would have taken longer. In the meantime there was of course no delay in collecting your fees. This claim wasn't even for anything super complex- my dog had gastrointestinal issues that were resolved with meds. This is our first experience with pet insurance and we are incredibly disappointed. We are looking into our options and considering switching insurance companies. Additionally, it's ironic that you list the Live Chat as a method of communication in this survey as it never works!
