“I am so thankful that I made the decision to go with Pets Best! I had never had pet insurance and was afraid to make a choice. We ended up going with PB. Soon after, my dog came down with a life threatening health issue. We would NOT have been able to afford the treatment, but thankfully with insurance we can! 🩷 Online submission of claims is quick and understandable. I like their communication of receiving the claims and claim fulfillment. Seriously, worth every penny we have spent!!”

“PetsBest worked well when one of our dogs got very sick. I am very grateful for that. However, the six-month waiting period for a cruciate ligament injury is unfair. Our rescue dog injured her leg a few months after we adopted her, and PetsBest will not cover her even though we enrolled her in insurance as soon as we possibly could have. The point of insurance is to cover unexpected injuries like our dog's leg injury, so it's really disappointing that we will not be able to get any help, especially after the extreme premium increases in 2026. It's really disappointing, and we'll be looking for a different pet insurance company.”

“My claims are typically resolved within two weeks or less from my experience. That is a pretty good turnaround. They have paid claims as I would’ve expected. I would recommend them.”

“We have been with Pets Best for several years, but I didn't file my first claim until recently. I have been incredibly impressed, actually blown away, by how quickly they process claims. Whether an invoice was applied toward my deductible or resulted in a reimbursement, I received a claim decision within 24 hours of submitting it. The speed and efficiency of their claims process has exceeded my expectations. That said, I do reserve the right to revise my review if the reimbursement check is not mailed as promptly as Pets Best indicated it would be. Assuming it arrives on time, my experience so far has been excellent.”

“So far Pets Best has been great. They have been quick with reimbursements and send reminders when claims need more action. They did increase my dogs premium between her 1st and 2nd years; however I'm pretty sure all companies will do that. Hopefully increases will be modest as long as no significant health indicators change.”

“I am so incredibly grateful for Pets Best! My Boxer, Duke, suffers from severe environmental allergies. Before, we were constantly cycling through vet visits trying different things that never worked. It was exhausting and expensive. Finally, we saw a reputable pet dermatologist. Pets Best covered Duke's allergy testing and now covers his allergy shots. In the end, getting real answers saved both me and my insurance provider so much money. Thanks to Pets Best, Duke is finally having his absolute first great summer! 🐾”

“I have been with Pets Best for more than five years and they are top notch. They helave helped save one of our bullies several times. My employer Lowe's has even Pets Best as one of our benefits. They have very convenient app to submit claims with and super fast refunding right into you bank account! I would recommend them to everyone!”

“Had pets best insurance for about 5-6 years. Always had claims processing in a timely manner. The checks came soon after I received email of process. Unfortunately my Bella had cancer and had to be put down after a year. Thank you Pets Best for making the claim process so easy as take a picture n send it thru app.”

“Our dog had his annual checkup this month, and several tests and procedures that are normally covered by Pets Best were not covered because his checkup took place two days before the one-year mark. I understand that it was an error on our end to schedule it then, but Pets Best did not allow a one-time exception for us even though we've been customers for years and have seen our premiums increase annually. We've never disputed a claim before, so it was disappointing after speaking with a customer service rept that Pets Best didn't even meet us halfway.”

“I have two little fur babies. Pets Best has been a life saver for us as one of them has a chronic illness. They have been awesome in helping us take care of her. My little boy has developed some arthritis and now has to have a monthly shot. I could not have done that without them helping me with it. It is easy to file a claim and the turn around is great. Love them.”
