“My dog had a foreign body surgery which resulted in TWO more abdominal surgeries eventually leaving her with short bowel syndrome. PetsBest has covered 90% of everything, no questions asked. I wouldnt have been able to do all of these treatments without them!”

“Pets Best has been absolutely wonderful. We welcomed a 3 month old Maltese to our family and he’s over a year old now, and can’t imagine not having Pets Best. We’ve found out through this journey when he was having some ongoing and intermittent symptoms he has a poultry allergy, and environmental allergies. He also has a history of having a delayed reaction to shots and anesthesia. Pets Best has been there for us through all of it. They process claims in a timely manner and have paid out for everything accident/illness related. I tell everyone to get this insurance.”

“Pets Best is excellent. Have had them insuring 2 dogs, a GSD and a mixed breed, for 8 years. The mixed breed has had severe health problems and Pets Best really delivered in his coverage. I highly recommend them”

“I cannot overstate how wonderful PetsBest has been during the course of the past three years (since we transferred our coverage from Fetch (where our experience had been every bit as bad as it has been good with PetsBest)! Fed up with the delays and denials and disagreements we experienced at Fetch we searched out an alternative and came across PetsBest through Progressive. By coincidence, our 10 year old dog was developing a heart condition just as we were shifting coverage. Ultimately he needed a pacemaker and then he needed to have that surgery revised. The total cost was astronomical, and plainly (to me) Fetch was the plan that should have covered the condition since it arose during their coverage and since the surgeries at least started while they covered him. I disclosed both policxies to each other and the two companies hashed it out between them, with PetsBest winding up accepting responsibility for 90% of the costs and Fetch mostly walking away. Since then there's been a ton of aftercare and some unrelated illnesses, and PetsBest has always followed through. In the first year or two their processing time was slightly tardy, but still far better than Fetch's. Recently they have started to process claims in a matter of days. Their customer support reps have been consistently excellent. The claims process is a piece of cake to work with. I could not be happier or more supportive!”

“My 8 yr old Chihuahua recently developed pyometra and needed surgery right away. I wasn’t prepared for the cost of this surgery and worried how I would pay the bill. Fortunately, I have Pets Best insurance coverage. I filed my claim and they processed it promptly and sent payment. Such a relief to know that the balance owed will be much easier to handle now. I highly recommend this company. They are the Best!”

“This insurance is literally keeping my dog alive as she has recently developed Addison's Disease out of nowhere. The claims are being processed quickly and without issue. Don't wait until you need it to get pet insurance because then it will be a pre-existing condition and hard to find coverage or much more expensive!”

“I ended up switching to Pets Best when the first pet insurance company I was with went up 70% after being with them for a year with no claims filed at all! Which is complete bs! I read a ton of reviews online and it seemed like Pets Best was the easiest and covered the most. Well after several years of the paying monthly premium, I was convinced I was wasting my money and was contemplating canceling all together. Sure enough, my vet recommended a fairly invasive surgery for my frenchie, which would be with an expensive well known surgeon that I knew would be several thousands of dollars. I looked up my policy and saw that there was no coverage for preexisting conditions, so I automatically thought the surgery to help him breathe would not be covered. I called in and spoke with a rep, who said she couldn’t confirm one way or another without a claim, and seeing receipts/invoices, but assured me that it doesn’t necessarily mean this particular surgery would be denied. She encouraged me to make the claim and see. Again, I was hoping for the best but expecting the worst, and submitted the claim after his surgery. I submitted the receipts to Pets Best on a Friday, and by Tuesday (and Monday was Memorial Day Holiday) I already had a response in my inbox! They covered majority of the costs and it was directly deposited in my account by the end of the week!! I am so impressed and grateful for it being so incredibly easy on me! I was fully expecting to be denied and was planning on cancelling my policy but the way this was handled, I will definitely keep our policy with Pets Best!”

“Considering the $250 per month premium, plus the high deductibles and co pay, what I get back as a rebate I would be better off saving the premium and using that to cover all cost out of pocket.”

“I have benefits for wellness and sickness. The price for Pet Insurance is good. Unfortunately when I submitted my recent wellness visit which ended up also being for a sick visit. My dog had an ear infection that I knew he had but this was already a scheduled yearly checkup. He received his annual visit & he also had antibiotics given for his ear infection. Pets Best said they put it all towards my insurance deductible. Not real happy about that since Wellness benefits do not have a deductible so why did I not get that percentage back??
