“Pets Best has been wonderful to work with on treating my pets. My best tip is to ensure that you provide them appropriate and adequate information to help them process your claim. When this is done, they are very fast to process it and send reimbursement.”

“We had our 4yr old Border Collie neutered, and he also has a broken lower K9. After talking to the Vet, we decided to put him under once and do both that needed to be done. Pets Best paid us $39 for the tooth removal. Pushing all the other on the neuter side. They didn't split anything. But, we did the right thing, putting him under ONCE . $400 - Neuter, $70 tooth extraction The rest was roughly $600 to put him under, ignored.”

“Great insurance, they are responsive and don’t seem to play gimmicks. The only suggestion I have for submitting claims is to upload the records yourself before submitting the claim, otherwise they try to get the records from you vet and never seem to receive it.”

“I recommend pets best to anyone who has a dog. They have saved me thousands of dollars on vet bills these past couple of years. They are responsive, and I have never had a claim denied that I expected them to cover (I have the accident/illness plan without the welness plan). They typically get your refund back to you in a couple weeks, but if you have a large bill (for example, my dogs 5500 surgery bill) it may take a little longer. I think that is understandable. However, at the two week mark they will email you to let you know they are still working on it. I deeply appreciate those updates. I also have used Wisker Docs that has been includes in on the plan for free to talk to vet techs. They have saved me a lot of time and money too! I highly recommend PetsBest. I trust them implicitly and have had an excellent experience with them. I have a $250 deductible after a 10% copay. Even after them paying thousands of dollars over the first year of me having my dog, my rate only went up a little. I am impressed.”

“The insurance coverage and reimbursement is fine, like others we have had, they are extremely slow at getting your reimbursement from claims returned to you. Our last claim took almost a month to get returned to us. Very unacceptable.”

“We’ve had dogs for nearly 20 years but only got pet insurance in the past year—and so far, I’m really pleased with Pets Best. One of my dogs is very old with chronic issues, so I was thrilled to find an accident-only policy for her for just $9/month. I have more comprehensive coverage for my other dog, and while claims can take a few days to process, the communication, updates, and explanations of benefits have been excellent.”
