“I wish I could add a half star to make it 4.5. I have really enjoed my experience with Pets Best. In tha past, the claims process did take quite a long time, but over the last 4-6 monhts, they have really accelerated their claims processing time with prompt turnarounds, which I appreciate. The submission process is a breeze and on the rare occassion that I need to call, every agent is pleasant, super helpful, efficient and quick. As my pups are aging, the rates are really shooting up, so I wish the pricing, especially for existing policy holder was a bit more competitive, but that is my only reservation with this provider. Overall, really positive experience. I love the continuous improvement they keep applying to their process. Thank you!”

“I was the most skeptical customer when I signed up. It was our first dog and she was very healthy. I fealt like I was tossing money out the window each year and wanted to cacel on numerous occassions. Four months aso, when our Shepherd was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, we finally saw how valuable this pet insurance was. Our procedures cost well over $12,000 and if we didn't have insurance, our only option would have been to put our beloved pet down. Our Shepherd is still with us and I'm grateful for the coverage we received from PetsBest. I would definitely sign up again. There are levels of insurance that are reasonable for most everyone.”

“Pets Best has been consistently covering my dog's health for the past 7 years and has saved me a lot of money. I've compared my plan across other insurances and still am receiving the best coverage for how much I'm paying.”

“Pets Best has lived up to the insurance policy we purchased from them without any issues. Our aging dog has experienced some significant medical issues this year costing hundreds of dollars and all of the covered illnesses were promptly paid without any pushback or questions. A solid company to do business with.”

“Expensive and very few of my claims have been covered and usually at a small percentage of what I paid. In current state, I would have saved thousands of dollars if I just didnt have pet insurance, unfortunately.”

“Go with another company. My pet's monthly premium has doubled each of the last 3 years and he's only 5 years old. It's now going up to $3500+/yr or $300/mo. Pet's Best has become a greedy, private equity-driven company that demands high monthly premiums. Then, when you submit a claim, they always "need more information," in case there's a way they can deny your claim and not pay it. They're taking the exact same pathway as health insurance for people and it's beyond disgusting.”

“we’ve had pets best for our dog since he was 16 weeks. we have 80% reimbursement with the wellness plus add on and we pay $100 per month in the Bay Area, CA. this is very affordable compared to other quotes we’ve received. customer service is always available to answer any questions or concerns that I have. their app is very user friendly and it’s easy to submit claims. they take care of everything! you simply add your vets name and they are able to reach out to them and ask for any paperwork required. i’ve had problems asking for and receiving notes in the past so i love that petsbest can reach out and obtain them. id recommend pets best not only for coverage+ pricing, but their customer service and easy to use app/ website. we never know what can happen to our pets; so we truly appreciate having a pet insurance company that we can rely on and trust whether it is a wellness exam or emergency”

“My recent claim was reviewed and approved within a reasonable timeframe. However it took a little longer than I anticipated to be deposited in my bank. I also feel that the premiums could be just slightly lower.”

“The wellness policy is absolutely not worth the money. It will only cover a portion of the cost of one vaccine, when often multiple vaccines are given at an annual visit. It also is inflexible with reimbursement amounts. I get a 3-year rabies vaccine which is more expensive, and the company won’t adjust for the fact that they only have to reimburse it every three years. Overall, the wellness insurance is a complete waste of money.”

“Submitting my claim online wasn’t difficult. My claim was promptly paid in 2 weeks for the expected amount according to my policies parameters. Pet’s Best communicated well via email and sent a clear breakdown of the expenses that were covered and explanations of the expenses not covered. The ease and efficiency of the processes, made a difficult time easier. Based on this experience, reasonable policy premiums and convenient website I would highly recommend Pet’s Best.”

“I've had Pet's Best pet insurance for just over a year and have been reimbursed for several wellness items (they're part of the plan). The process for reimbursment has been quite easy (submitted receipts via their website) and I'm very happy with them.”

“I have been a customer for 4.5 years and I only wish they sold house and auto insurance! They are wonderful to work with. I turn in my invoices for my pet who has allergies and I get notification within 2 days of my reimbursement. Pretty amazing! If there is a question, they are in constant contact. I highly recommend them.”
