While it’s very easy to upload claims, I feel as though the constant price increases and the amount of reimbursement per claim is getting worse and worse. It doesn’t seem like it’s worth the cost anymore unfortunately.

The process was very quick, I received the explanation of benefits within a day. The only thing that was a bit frustrating was that I could not log in through the app. I kept receiving an error message saying that it was not available but no indication of when it may be back up so I finally ended up submitting on the web site.

Extremely expensive! They raise the prices by significant amounts every year, last year it was an over $100 increase for monthly costs. They allow you to change your coverage options to lower the cost but it's very minimal impacts on monthly cost for much lower coverage and reimbursement. The claims are denied more often than approved. They deny claims for monitoring ongoing health conditions and prescription medication that they say they cover. The portal is difficult to use: it lags or refuses to progress in the claim system making you go back and redo claims multiple times to submit it, it freezes during the 2FA log in process making you need to get multiple codes, it does not allow you to respond to their request for extra information for claims, and the payment history only goes back 12 months. They do cover some surgeries they approve of and sometimes the appointments for medical care, but only if they deem it to be covered by your plan and not based on the medical need. Honestly, not worth it if you are looking as a new client. The only reason I am keeping them is in the hope that my pets with pre existing conditions eventually have their treatments covered in some way. I will be cancelling it next year if they raise the rates another $100+. Pet insurance is important but this is not the one to use.

I have had this insurance for all 4 of my dogs. It is by far the best I ever had. Claims are easy to file. Response is prompt. Money is direct deposited into my checking account. Great value for the premium paid. Highly recommend.

So far no issues , fast and professional service , claims processing has been pretty seamless. We shall see how it continues to go as my dog is now needing surgery and so far all claims have been paid related to the dx but still somewhat hesitant about this.

Pets Best is a great pet insurance company. I have been using it for the last six years and have had a very positive experience. The reimbursement process is quick and efficient. Whenever I file a claim, it is reviewed promptly, and the reimbursement is issued without unnecessary delays. Submitting a claim is very easy through their system, and their customer service representatives are always helpful and professional when I need assistance. Overall, Pets Best provides excellent coverage, fast claim processing, and outstanding customer service. I would highly recommend it to pet owners looking for reliable pet insurance.

Pets Best processed my claim promptly and compensated me according to my agreement. Just a little worried that having a claim will increase my premium when it renews. But it was really nice to know that I didn't have to worry about the cost to figure out what was wrong with my dog. She would have died without prompt intervention.

Extremely poor customer service center. I had called to understand my benefits and was pretty much told to shut up and file a claim. Pets best will drag their feet through every claim and refuse to do any work themselves. They are incapable of calling your vets office to get any additional information, instead your claim will just sit there until you manually update each claim. Definitely feels like my dog is just a pay check to pets best. I would not recommend this company to anyone

Our claim for a $7500 surgery was denied after providing 6 full years worth of medical records. PetsBest cited a “word of mouth” “symptom” that was present during the the waiting period to decline coverage. There were no formal diagnosis until after the waiting period had expired. So in short, there is no reason to have the coverage in the first place since nothing is covered. We are now out nearly $10,000 on a “symptom” that was never observed by a medical doctor. I whole heartedly do not recommend this company, as I believe they instruct their adjusters to find every possible avenue to decline claims.

I checked all the brands I could find before going with Pets Best, any insurance company is going to have mixed reviews but this felt like the best fit. I have had both my dogs covered for over a year and a few days ago we had to use this policy for the first time. It truly was the best feeling ever to tell the vet it’s okay whatever it costs we’ll pay, I have insurance. My dog had to have emergency surgery for foreign body ingestion, and Pets Best covered it all. Woohoo! I also got my determination way quicker than I anticipated. Put in the claim on Wednesday and had a decision in my inbox on Saturday. Not saying it will always be this quick but that is a fantastic turn around time. This is how insurance should work and I feel so much better knowing my girls are covered. Just save yourself the heartache later and get your furry friends covered. I’ve seen firsthand the devastation when pet parents can’t pay for the emergency surgery or treatment. I’ve also seen people take out personal loans. This is the alternative that WORKS.

I give you a 5-star because I know as a company you try your best for your customers and their pets. I am upset that there was no leeway for my dog's lack of coverage for Valley Fever which didn't manifest itsef until almost 4 months after we got her. But your customer care people are great and your communication vwery good.
