“PetsBest has literally been life changing. We have 2 rescues - we only got pet insurance with the younger one when she was a baby - can I see how amazing the cheapest plan is? I needed basically “catastrophic” care plan - and it more then was! We ended up buying for our 7 year old then too, just bc of our experience and the affordability. We recommend them 10/10 to all our friends and family! !”

“What does a pet owner want from their insurance? A reasonable premium. Broad range of coverage plans. Easy claims submission process. Fair and fast reimbursement. Well "Woof, woof - ruff, ruff!" - Pets Best delivers exactly that! Been insuring with them for about 4 years and couldn't be more satisfied. And don't dismiss the value of their free vet advice service.”

“It is disappointing when you dont cover things that I have to pay $300.00 for. I have considered giving up this insurance. I do appreciate the reimbursement when Max had to have surgery.”

“Response was prompt with processing my pets visit . The plan I have is for accident and illness which the monthly cost is reasonable to take care of my 5 year old golden retriever giving me peace of mind.”

“You have a deductible to meet of $500 ... plus ... a copay of $157 on 800.00 and you pay $54 a month and I still haven’t seen any refund”

“Their coverage is very good, with a range of options to optimize cost and value. Customer service is very responsive. However, the speed of claim processing varies, and the classification of claims between wellness and illness isn't always accurate.”

“Ongoing issues with logging in both by mobile app and browser. Took me about a week to finally get into the app to make a claim. Processing was quick however, so that is a plus, but we will probably be switching to another provider for next year. The web issues were unacceptable”

“Customer service is great and the claims is getting faster than last year.. It makes it nice because some vets wont let you fill out the paperwork to directly pay the vet and it comes out of my pocket. so its nice to get the money back quicker now SO Thank you!!!”

“The coverage for ingested objects toxins is ridiculous. The plans are for a year. Coverage for ingested objects/toxins is 2 every 18 months. It should renew every year just like every thing else in the plan. I will say processing time of claims has greatly improved but the amount of time to receive the payment still lags.”

“After doing alot of research, we decided to go with Petsbest. Our puppy was put on to the insurance as soon as we got him home. So far, we are pleased with the coverage. There is always a wish that other things were covered but for the essentials and the package and deductible we chose, we are very happy with the coverage. I would recommend Petsbest to anyone who is looking to cover their new family member. As a matter of fact, I have recommended you to a few people who asked us already. Thank you!!”

“Reimbursements are done quickly. However, rates go up and they say it's dependent on the average cost of the vet in my area and pet's age and while that may be true, the wellness package rebates do not reflect that. We should be getting more back if veterinarians are charging more for routine visits, blood work, vaccinations etc. Also, some adjustors are good while others are not. I've had to call back regarding EOBs because some items were overlooked and not reimbursed. Very inconsistent. Pets Best was much better when it was still owned by Synchrony.”

“I wish I could add a half star to make it 4.5. I have really enjoed my experience with Pets Best. In tha past, the claims process did take quite a long time, but over the last 4-6 monhts, they have really accelerated their claims processing time with prompt turnarounds, which I appreciate. The submission process is a breeze and on the rare occassion that I need to call, every agent is pleasant, super helpful, efficient and quick. As my pups are aging, the rates are really shooting up, so I wish the pricing, especially for existing policy holder was a bit more competitive, but that is my only reservation with this provider. Overall, really positive experience. I love the continuous improvement they keep applying to their process. Thank you!”
