“I'm writing this review with great sadness, since it's only been a few weeks since we had to put our sweet boy down. We had Pets Best coverage on Crew since he was 6mo old, and we rarely used the coverage (thankfully!)..... This year has been totally different, and terrible for us as pet parents, but Pets Best stepped up and made sure things didn't become financially detrimental to us. Crew suffered a spinal injury in early March, paralyzing him from the rib cage down. The initial costs for the hospital, MRI, etc. would have set us back years, but Pets Best stepped up. During our attempts to rehab Crew, with hopes of getting him closer to normal, Pets Best helped with the numerous UTIs, digestive issues, etc. he had to deal with. In mid July, we were given a diagnosis that Crew would never walk again, or regain control of bowels /bladder. After months of seeing his depression, and our quality of lives all going downhill, we made the decision to let Crew cross the rainbow bridge and watch over us from afar. During this horrible step in life, Pet's Best stepped up again and helped us out financially. They are an amazing company that does the right thing for their customers and fur babies, even upon the death of your baby. They cancelled the policy for us, and are even giving a prorated amount of our remaining premium, which was completely unexpected! When we are ready to bring another pet into our home, Pets Best will be a must! Thank you again!”

“I initially signed up with Pets Best when I got my first dog, and my experience at the beginning was very positive. Customer service was responsive, and my claims were typically processed within less than a week. Unfortunately, over the past three years, my experience has significantly declined. One of the most upsetting situations occurred after my dog passed away. Even though I had closed the account, I was charged for another month of coverage and had to reach out myself to find out why. Having to deal with an unexpected charge during an already difficult time was extremely frustrating and upsetting. More recently, I have experienced repeated issues with claims for my new puppies being denied without clear or consistent explanations. On top of that, my premiums have increased significantly each year, making it difficult to feel confident that I am receiving the value and support I originally expected. The main reason I have remained with Pets Best is because I am already an existing customer and have an established account history. However, if these issues continue and the customer experience does not improve, I am seriously considering switching providers. I hope Pets Best takes this feedback seriously and works to improve claim transparency, communication, and overall customer support.”

“We have been so happy with Pets Best. Our claims have always been covered, customer service has been fantastic whenever I've had questions or claims needed more information, and payment is fast. Once someone told me I could upload vet records to the portal instead of having Pets Best request them, my claims were paid almost instantly. Unfortunately, I just lost my fur baby. Her final expenses included a hefty emergency bill and an even heftier surgery, which Pets Best reimbursed with lightning speed. Not only that, we received a nice condolence email AND they cancelled her policy with a pro rated refund. Someday, when we decided to get another fur baby, we will definitely choose Pets Best again. In the meantime, I just refer everyone I know.”

“Pets Best ,is for me , the best health insurance for pets! Most conditions regarding your pets health seemed to be covered. I find it very easy to submit a claim. reimbursement is done in a timely manner. Questions are answered by a real person on the other end of the line. I find it comforting knowing I have Pets Best Insurance I can rely on in an emergency.”

“Petsbest Auto reply emails not specific, became very frustrating, when showed repeatedly asking vet - who had sent requested info, multiple x’s and multiple formats - for info and would close my claim. Several calls to vet, 1-1/2 hrs on phone with PN’s rep, hrs on pc to put docs into portal, kept timing out. Fair settlement recvd after weeks of frustration.”

“Since you started using AI to process the claims, it has become more complicated to get my claims processed. You just denied one that you approved for another dog a couple of years ago. I don't understand”
