“Excellent Customer Service!! So easy to submit a claim and money is deposited into my account within a week. I always recommend Pets Best to all my family and friends. Both my dogs had policies. And when I get another dog, I will definitely get Pets Best insurance!! Highly recommend it!!!”

“I've been using Pets Best since 2014, first for my Foxhound they I lost at age 13 in early 2026 and now for my new foxhound of 12 months old. There were several surgeries over the years with my first dog, Chance, and now an ER visit with my new dog. Pets Best is always there. They are always fast with payments on any claims and extremely thorough with their explanation on coverage for each claim. Although you ever want to use your pet insurance, because it means something has occured with your pet, but it's nice to know you have an innsurance company to make it just a little easier at a stressful time for you and your pet.”

“I’m very disappointed with my experience with Pets Best Insurance. My dog’s ear infection was incorrectly classified as a pre-existing condition, despite veterinary documentation stating that it was not pre-existing. I provided the requested medical records and documentation from my veterinarian, but Pets Best still maintained that the condition was pre-existing. It was extremely frustrating to have a claim denied based on an incorrect interpretation of my dog’s medical history, especially when the treating veterinarian provided documentation contradicting that determination. I expected an insurance company to carefully review the medical evidence before making a decision. Instead, I was left feeling that the documentation I provided was not given appropriate consideration. I hope Pets Best improves its claims-review process and takes veterinary documentation more seriously. Based on my experience, I would encourage other pet owners to carefully review the policy terms and understand how pre-existing conditions are determined before relying on this coverage.”

“I have been pleased with the service I have received. I just hope next year’s premium doesn’t go up too much. Then I may not be able to afford the coverage. As for now I would recommend Pets Best Pet Health Insurance.”

“This is the first time I got Health Insurance. Everyone told me it would really be good. Well that's a joke. For one of my dogs I spent over $1500, that was for 3 visits. One of the visits was only $95 and the other 2 were both over $700. I am still waiting to receive any compensation from the 3 visits. I understand that they apply $500 towards the co-pay but I have no idea where the rest of the money is. Every time I call they tell me i have a really good insurance policy, but still haven't received any money back yet.”

“Thank you Pets Best for being such a dependable company when we’ve needed it. My 12 year old German Shepherd was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in February. Since then it seems like it’s been one thing after another including a major surgery for bloat and some very expensive blood work concerning her thyroid which seems to be causing her vestibular problems. This week she has had more blood work and you have let me know it will be paid for before I have even gotten her results! Thank you for being so prompt and always paying what you say you will. I will continue to recommend you to anyone that needs reliable pet insurance”

“I bought Pets Best for both of my cats two years ago. Never had the need to use it. My renewal was coming up in October and I was thinking about canceling. I’m glad I didn’t. My tom cat got a fever and became very lethargic and wouldn’t eat. Took him to an animal hospital where he had to be hospitalized for 3 days, with X-rays, blood tests, antibiotics, meds, and an ultrasound. Final bill was over $5k. I was skeptical that I would receive reimbursement, but Pets Best reimbursed me at 80% within a week. Fantastic company and I will be keeping my insurance!”

“I just received an explanation of my denied claim !! It took two of us to figure out why you said it was a “duplicate” claim !!! I feel that you need to explain better why you “deny” a claim. But you did pay part of the Vet bill. But I haven’t seen the deposit in my bank account yet. Although I think I’m paying more for coverage than what I’m getting. And I feel that pre-existing conditions should be covered. Why are they not covered??”
