Pets Best has been an honorable pet insurance company since I started using them a few years ago. They have detailed Explanation of Benefits docs for every claim I have filed and have never felt like they are trying to weasel their way out of a claim. We even relied on their service for an expensive dental surgery when our dog damaged her tooth. The one complaint I have is how the claim processing times have increased over time. They used to have very short processing windows of 1-2 weeks after filing a claim and I felt like that was used as a selling point. However, over time this has crept to over a month of processing time for every claim so it’s been frustrating that something we thought was part of the service was taken away. Overall a good insurance company and would recommend.
