The calls to customer service regarding the appeal for nov 2021 claim were always pleasant. Provided with the most updated information. My issue is with the long process of appeal. Documented date of appeal was dec 1 for nov 2021 office visit. Jan. 17 monday is the date of resolution. Based on how simple this was should not have taken all the time it did to review.,In my opinion the intial Claim processor rushed through the information and did not take the appropriate time to review everything to process the claim correctly. Unfortunately this resulted in a total denial which never should’ve happened. This was simple and easy, but unfortunately took a very long time to get resolved. Petsbest should be stressing to claims to review everything before making a determination of denial. Thank goodness I took the time to review on my end and appeal. The fee for the office visit was finally determined to be eligible and benefit paid. Waiting for eob from jan 2022 visit. I hope this one goes a little better and doesnot require any additional input on my end. Thank to those at petsbest who answer the phone and provide what information they can.
