We have insurance with Pets Best for both of our westies: one is a rescued girl, who came to us at age 5 with some ear and skin issues after life in a puppymill breeding gulag; the "baby" was adopted as a puppy from her original owner whose medical problems made raising a puppy impossible. Overall, we have been satisifed with each girl's coverage (differing, due to age and developmental stage), but moreso with the coverage for the younger (which is more comprehensive). Claims have been mostly good, though some "not covered" issues have arisen that were surprises. Payment is pretty rapid, as a reimbursement model, though right now we have one pending for the older dog; while the pup's was turned around faster - even though the former was submitted first.
