I have to take my dog to the vet for health issues twice within less than a year. The first time I spent $312.15 (11/1/21) and again on 6/1/22 (spending $544.45) and BOTH times, I was charged a $250.00 deductible. It was my understanding that the deductible was only charged ONCE a year. I am on a fixed income and was not expecting to be charged twice in a year for the deductible. I will be looking for a different pet insurance company that will not charge a double deductible yearly.
