I’ve always had dogs but this is the first time I had ever purchased pet insurance. After my last dog had a cardiac condition that required years of expensive medicine and tests I decided that future pets would have insurance but hopefully not need it. I researched multiple companies before deciding on Pets Best. I have been very happy with my decision. I've never had any issues with them wrongfully denying a claim. I will say make sure you check their formulary before the vet sends home medication, one of my vets likes to use more holistic ones that are never covered, but now I can check and if there is something similar have it switched. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because it can sometimes takes longer than expected to process a claim. It has been improving and I'm sure like most businesses they are dealing with staffing shortages. Overall I would definitely recommend them.
