I submitted my pets claim on July 5th for an injury with her leg. I waited 60 days to find the results on my claim to be not accepted. The insurance company labeled her leg injury as an illness when it clearly was an accident related injury. They then did not cover it since it was a day off the waiting period even though in was not an illness. I then had to get support from my vet for an appeal to prove that this was an accident related claim. The company then allows for a 90 day review period and regardless on the mistake they had made and the clear letter from my vet they waited the full 90 days to look at my appeal. Lucky at the end of this they did in fact cover her leg since it was undoubtedly not an illness however waiting 150 days for coverage in unacceptable for an insurance company. No matter how many times you call there is no one who can actually help you with navigating your claim and there is no way to expedite your claim.
