While easy to submit claims and reimbursements were timely as a whole I can not recommend pets best. Over the course of 10.5 years my pets insurance increased from under $90/mo to nearly $300/mo. In the last year alone the increase was +$110. This to me is simply unacceptable as an insurance provider. Then when they changed underwriters they would not change my policy, instead suggesting I cancel and reapply. This is where their business practices are sketch, after a couple of years they know they pretty much have you as it becomes difficult to find affordable pet insurance once pets enter their older years. My perception is also that Pets Best punishes their customers for using them policy. My dog had pneumonia and required emergency care and the following year my monthly premium was nearly $300. Do your research!
