I am in the middle of an active claim, the first I have ever had with any pet insurance company. As of right now, I am feeling sort of 'meh' about the entire process. I may update this at a later time, good or bad. I have an ongoing situation with my pet, involving ER vets, diagnostic imaging, etc. The claim submission process has been less than simple. Because all of the claims are for the same overall situation and just on different days, if further information is needed, the communication on the part of Pets Best has been pretty lousy, to be honest. I get a 'form letter' type email that doesn't give accurate information on what they truly need or even what is wrong with the information submitted. And of course, the one that is taking the longest to approve is the highest dollar figure. The reason claimed for the hold-up was explained in the original submission. So, we are at 3 weeks and still waiting on those charges to be approved.
