Pretty disappointed with the outcome of my only claim filed with Pets Best. My dog had to go into operation for periodontal disease tooth extraction and the claim agent excluded the cost of anesthesia determining it was part of “ordinary care” and not for the extractions. Conveniently this cost was the biggest line item cost on my bill, and brought the Pet’s Best portion owed to about the annual deductible.
Not sure if other providers are better, but definitely feels like Pet’s Best is looking to fleece it’s customers. I’ll be switch providers next year.
