It was a terrible moment when I realized my cat had eaten part of an oriental lily and I found out that they are highly toxic and that the kidneys can shut down within 3 days and be fatal. I rushed my cat to the vet and they took incredible care of him, monitoring his kidney panel and using charcoal to draw out all the toxins after he vomited. Three days at the vet came to over $2,000. Pets Best reimbursed me just over $1,000, taking into account the $500 deductible and providing the promised 80%. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is that it took almost three months and a phone call to get the funds directed to my account. But the amount was accurate without any issues. My beloved cat is now healthy and fully recovered and I was very grateful for my Pets Best insurance.
