I have had PetsBest for my two dogs since they were 3 months and 9 months old. They are now 6 and turning 7. I'm a licensed Veterinary Technician and recommend this company to anyone who asks about pet insurance, and even bring it up to those who don't ask, for certain breeds I know are problem-children! I've never had trouble getting things covered, and it's pretty easy for me to know what will and won't be covered based on the policy details. Prices have gone up each year, as expected with my large breed dogs getting older and having health problems. Many of my claims are processed super quickly, such as medication refills or a simple visit. Things that are trickier, like a surgery, tend to take a LOT more time. That is my reason for 4 stars instead of 5. I recently had a mass removed from my Golden Retriever and it took over 5 weeks to process that claim through. Finally got the email and should be getting my return from them soon. I'll say that whenever I have exceeded my deductible, after the claim is processed, the funds come pretty quick. It's just the waiting for the claim to process sometimes.
